Acai XS Review
What You Should Know
Acai XS is another acai berry supplement claiming to promote weight loss. There is no official website, but we found several descriptions on the Internet. Links in the product descriptions claim the supplement can be purchased online, but the links lead us to the Acai Berry Select website. That website does list ingredients for the supplement formerly known as Acai XS. Whether the two supplements are one in the same we do not know, but we do know the links for Acai XS lead to this supplement so we can assume the product just underwent a name change.
Acai berry will not promote weight loss so any company claiming it will is telling the dieter a lie. The ingredients in Acai XS or Acai Berry Select, however, may promote healthy metabolism and weight loss.
List of Ingredients
- Green Tea Extract
- Acai Berry Extract
Chromium is known to control blood glucose levels. This can help the dieter ease hunger by stopping blood glucose from dropping into the hunger danger zone after digestion of carbohydrates.
Green tea extract contains caffeine and EGCG. Both are proven to increase metabolism and help the dieter lose weight. There are clinical studies supporting use of green tea for weight loss, but none are listed.
Caffeine is another proven ingredient. There is 200 mg of caffeine per serving of Acai XS or Acai Berry Select. This is far too much caffeine for one dose. The dieter will likely feel negative side effects, including nervousness and jitters. The side effects will likely fade, but as they fade the body grows used to having caffeine every day for energy. If the dieter stops taking the supplement they could go through caffeine withdrawals.
Acai berry is an antioxidant that will support overall health and may reduce the effect of free radicals. There is no connection between acai berry and weight loss.

There are far too many acai berry supplements on the market and none are perfect. However, the formula for Acai XS is not bad. The supplement contains green tea, chromium and caffeine. There is too much caffeine, which is the only real downfall of the product. Consumers may be confused by links for Acai XS leading to Acai Berry Select, but this is a common problem with affiliate programs. Dieters need to make sure they are buying the supplement they want before making a purchase.
