Advocare 24 Day Challenge Review
What You Should Know
The Advocare 24 Day Challenge is a program that combines supplements with nutrition to jump start weight loss. All aspects of the program are available on the Advocare website. We did not see any way for the dieter to follow the program without purchasing the supplements from Advocare as the instructions include information about when to take specific supplements made for the Advocare 24 Day Challenge.
List of Ingredients
- Herbal Cleanse
- Spark Energy Drink
- Metabolic Nutrition System
- Meal Replacement Shake
- Spark Energy Drink
The Advocare 24 Day Challenge is broken into two phases – Cleanse and Max. Both phases come with supplement recommendations. The supplements recommended on the Cleanse phase including an herbal cleanse (laxative), omega fatty acid supplement and energy drink. There are no ingredients listed for any of the supplements, but there is a warning that dieters should not take stimulants (specific Advocare supplements are mentioned) during the Cleanse phase. The Cleanse phase lasts 10 days.
Next is the Max Phase. This is the phase where dieters can add back thermogenics and fat burners. Dieters appear to stop taking the herbal cleanse and omega fatty acids during the Max phase, but they continue to use the energy drink. The Max phase lasts from day 11 to day 24 of the Advocare 24 Day Challenge.
In addition to supplements, the dieter is given a full list of instructions, portion sizes and tips on how to eat while following the plan. According to Advocare, this is not a fad diet it is a way of eating so the dieter will be able to use the nutritional information after the 24 day challenge.
The entire nutrition system from Advocare is available free for anyone to download. The program integrates Advocare supplements, but with the instructions dieters could choose to skip the supplements, replace certain supplements or change all suggested supplements to more preferable brands. The nutrition information is sound and most dieters will lose weight following the program even if they choose not to take the Advocare supplements. The only issue we found with the program is the lack of dairy products. While following the Advocare 24 Day Challenge it appears dieters are supposed to skip dairy.
- The nutrition program and instructions for the Advocare 24 Day Challenge are available online free.
- The program supports healthy eating, increased water intake and supplementation.
- There is no dairy listed in the nutritional plan.
For dieters who need a place to start, the Advocare 24 Day Challenge is a unique program because it is free. The supplements come at a cost, but the dieter can choose to follow the diet and exercise plan without supplements to improve weight loss chances.
