Amfedrine provides all-natural ingredients that work to increase weight loss. The supplement includes an appetite suppressant and several sources of caffeine, which is common among weight loss products. Whether the ingredients are effective or included in effective amounts is another story. There is a free trial available from the official Amfedrine website. No credit card is required to request a free sample. All a dieter has to do is enter name, email address and physical address to receive a free sample.

List of Ingredients

Hoodia Gordonii, Chromium Polynicotinate, Green Tea Extract, Caffeine Anhydrous.

Product Features

The first ingredient listed is 200 mg of Hoodia Gordonii. Hoodia is an appetite suppressant that hit the weight loss market by storm only to fail clinical trial aiming to determine whether the cactus based ingredient really did decrease appetite. Authentic Hoodia Gordonii requires a CITES certificate when exported out of South Africa. Amfedrine offers a link to a CITES certificate, but the authenticity of the certificate is questionable. The company listed on the form is Naturex and the Hoodia listed was exported from the France division of the company to the United States. Naturex is not listed anywhere on the Amfedrine website.

Chromium, green tea and caffeine are all proven weight loss ingredient. We are happy to see these on the ingredient list, but there are no amounts listed. While many weight loss manufacturers will use proprietary blends to hide ingredient amounts, Amfedrine simply chooses not to list them at all. It is especially important to know how much green tea and caffeine are included in the supplement.

Studies listed on the website for each of the ingredients include links offsite to medical journals. We know green tea, caffeine and chromium are proven, but Hoodia has not been proven. The study used to support Hoodia is for P57, the active ingredient in Hoodia. Hoodia was not used for the study.

Amfedrine sells for $39.95 for a one-month supply. The company offers a 100% money back guarantee for all bottles that have been unopened, so dieters cannot try the supplement and return an empty bottle if they are less than satisfied.

  • Three ingredients are proven to increase weight loss.
  • The price is lower than other weight loss supplements.
  • The free trial does not require a credit card.
  • There is a 100% money back guarantee.

  • Hoodia is an ineffective ingredient.
  • The CITES certificate may not be authentic.
  • The dieter has no idea how much caffeine, chromium and green tea are in the supplement.

We love three of the ingredients and the fact that a free trial can be ordered without a credit card. This does not change the fact that Hoodia will not decrease appetite and the dieter is left without much of the information they need to make an educated decision about the weight loss supplement, Amfedrine.
