Asset Extreme Review
What You Should Know
Asset Extreme claims the body is full of toxins thanks to the environment in which we live and the foods we choose to eat. This is the same claim made by thousands of other colon cleansers and detox supplements. The ingredients in the formula appear slightly different than most until you reach the laxatives and diuretics. Any combination of ingredients packaged with laxatives and diuretics aren’t going to stay in the body long enough to have a significant impact on health or detoxification.

The laxatives in Asset Extreme are scattered throughout the ingredient list. We found cassia, senna, aloe and fiber. Cassia and senna are stimulant laxatives. Stimulant laxatives work by forcing the muscles of the intestines to contract prematurely. This forces water into the bowel and waste out of the body. Aloe is a lubricant that helps ease the movement of waste out of the body. Fiber is a bulk-forming laxative that causes waste to form a ball that scrubs down the sides of the intestines as waste is moved out of the body.
As if the four laxatives weren’t enough, there is also dandelion in the formula. Dandelion is natural diuretic. Diuretics force extra water out of the body, whether or not the user is retaining water. There is no way for the body to turn off diuretics, so when the body becomes dehydrated and the dieter keeps taking diuretics, electrolyte imbalance and severe dehydration can occur.
There is some green tea in the formula, though the company did not bother to list just how much. The green tea will likely be pushed out of the body by the laxative before it can be effective even if there is enough to boost metabolism in the formula.

- Contains green tea.
- There are four laxatives in the formula.
We are not fond of companies that sell laxatives as a means of detox. Laxatives, especially when paired with diuretics can cause side effects similar to those felt with stomach flu, including diarrhea, cramping and dehydration. Asset Extreme is not a safe alternative to diet supplements with proven ingredients and should not be used as part of a healthy diet supplement plan.
