Atkins Accel is a diet supplement that rides on the popularity of the Atkins diet, and that is intended to be used while strictly following this diet. The Atkins diet was immensely popular just a few years ago, and the basic idea behind this diet was that it combined a high protein intake with the near elimination of carbohydrates. This proved difficult for many people, as high protein foods such as chicken and beef are typically much more expensive than carbohydrate foods such as bread and pasta.

Atkins Accel was developed to help people on the Atkins diet get through the initial 14 day strict no carb period, and to go even longer without carbs. Atkins Accel claims to help you reduce your cravings for foods with carbohydrates and sugars. This product isn’t intended to be used by itself and you will probably experience little to no weight loss unless you use it in conjunction with the Atkins diet program.

List of Ingredients

Ingredients: Green Tea Leaf Extract: providing 50mg caffeine and 90mg epigallocatechin gallate,Glucomannan (Konjac Flour) 350mg Other Ingredients: Gelatin, magnesium stearate.

Product Features

Atkins Accel uses caffeine, which is a stimulant, but claims not to have enough to cause that jittery feeling many people associate with certain diet products. This small amount of caffeine might be enough to give your body a small thermogenic boost to help burn calories. Glucomannan is an appetite suppressant that might help you keep your cravings for big portions of food under control.

There is no official website for Atkins Accel and the actual list of ingredients seems to vary depending on what site you go to, which is worrisome. Some sites have various antioxidants listed and some have stimulants or polyphenols listed. It’s very hard to get a good idea of what is actually in this product.

Conclusion

Atkins Accel is primarily marketed for those who need a little help cutting carbs out of their diet while following the Atkins diet plan. We don’t believe those who are looking to lose weight without following that specific plan will get any benefits from this product. The Atkins diet was very popular not long ago but many people didn’t stick with it because they couldn’t afford the high protein foods, couldn’t control their cravings, or had medical problems that prevented them from following the program. If you are looking for a diet product to help you lose weight quickly, we highly recommend using something that combines a powerful fat burning ingredient with a well known appetite suppressant to achieve the best results possible in the shortest amount of time.

I have M.S. When this was available, it was the only product that made me feel like I didn’t have M.S., and allowed me to function normally with clear thought processes. I’m desperately trying to find a substitute since Accel is no longer available.
