What You Should Know
Beauty Fruit Detox Plum claims to help the dieter improve overall health, increase skin health, detox the body and improve weight loss all at the same time. We love the idea of taking one supplement and achieving all these goals, but we are extremely doubtful that Beauty Fruit Detox Plum will do anything other than increase bowel movements and water loss.
This supplement contains unknown ingredients listed as “so on.” We strongly suggest not using supplement with unknown ingredients as they could be dangerous.
List of Ingredients
- Golden Plum
- Angelica Keiskel
- Pu Erh Tea
- So on
Golden plum is an unknown ingredient that could be related to the plum or dried version of the plum – the prune. If this is the case, the dieter could be consuming an extract used as a laxative to loosen bowels. If that is the case, it is important to drink plenty of water and not use this supplement with prescription medications or other supplements as they may be less effective.
Angelica Keiskel is a perennial plant that has been studied for use in various diseases and conditions, but not weight loss. It is commonly used for its diuretic properties in alternative medicine. Diuretics cause water loss and may affect electrolyte balance if potassium and other electrolytes are not adequately replaced.
Lactobacillus is a form of healthy bacteria found in the intestines. Many people suffer from reduced levels of healthy bacteria due to lifestyle choices, environment and diet. Replenishing healthy bacteria can reduce gastrointestinal problems and digestive problems.
Pu Erh tea is a source of caffeine and is commonly used in premium diet teas. Beauty Fruit Detox Plum does not bother to list caffeine amounts or if the tea is standardized for EGCG, a proven metabolism booster.
So on is a series of ingredients unknown to the dieter. This small addition to the ingredient list is enough to cause us to suggest dieters skip this supplement.
- We found an ingredient list – though not complete.
- Contains pu erh tea.
- May contain dangerous ingredients referred to as “so on.”
- Contains a diuretic and laxative ingredient.
- Not suitable for use with prescription medications.
- No clinically proven ingredients to boost weight loss.
Beauty Fruit Detox Plum is not a supplement we would suggest dieters try. The inclusion of a diuretic and laxative ingredient is enough to cause us pause. This supplement does not contain proven ingredients and the dieter may suffer negative side effects like diarrhea or cramping after taking the supplement.
