Dieters need to always remember, if the product description is too good to be true, the product is not going to work. GNC sells Beta Burn Fat Burner. In the product description, the dieter is told they do not have to exercise to lose weight. They are also told they need not bother with dieting because this supplement will work whether the dieter diets or not. These are lies, plain and simple. Lasting weight loss will not result from taking a supplement without making lifestyle changes. The dieter gained weight because they did not eat right and move more. Taking a pill without making changes to these habits is just not going to help the dieter achieve weight loss goals.

There are some proven ingredients in the formula, but the company does not bother to note those ingredients or offer clinical research, in some cases. We would love to see the focus on the real heroes of the supplement – cayenne and green tea.

The description refers to clinical studies, but none are listed. Supplements do not increase lean muscle or “replace existing fat with lean muscle.”

Irvingia gabonesis is a source of fiber. Fiber may suppress appetite and help boost good cholesterol. There are no trusted clinical studies supporting claims that this ingredient will boost weight loss.

Green tea extract, the real hero in this supplement, is a fat burner and metabolism booster. We have no idea how much green tea is included in the formula because it is in a proprietary blend; a huge downer.

Cayenne is an up and coming ingredient that may promote thermogenesis and facilitate absorption of the other ingredients. We love this ingredient because there are virtually no side effects and it is not a stimulant.

We like the green tea and cayenne, but the other ingredients are the focal point of the supplement and they are not proven to have any effect on weight loss at all. This supplement is way overpriced and it supports weight loss without lifestyle changes.
