Betalife is a program which last for four weeks and incorporates diet and exercise into the plan together. Betalife is said to work on reducing one’s cholesterol, reducing the risks of heart attacks by 30%, lower one’s blood pressure, and to even improve diabetes and prevent certain types of cancer. The official website for Betalife promotes itself as “nutritional facelift” purporting that the program will not only make you feel better but will in effect “rebuild and repair” cells which will then brighten the complexion. The program consists of four DVD’s intended to be used one at a time to guide members through the program helping them to make the needed changed in order to be successful. The program promises to “kick start” the metabolism for fast and effective weight loss.

Product Features

Betalife seems to be a complete and comprehensive weight loss program. The plan uses common sense eating along with exercise to teach members how to eat properly and exercise to drop pounds and inches in a safe, effective way. The official website contains honest and believable testimonials. While results may vary from person to person as far as weight loss is concerned, the program does not appear to be harmful and does promote a healthy lifestyle for the entire family. That said weight loss does generally take place when both a healthy diet and exercise plan is followed. Few people can claim that they have not seen effective results using this method. We could not find where to purchase the DVD’ on the official website however an old website which is now closed lists the program for $295 which can be paid in 3 month increments with a major credit card. Upon the 4th month, a membership fee of $8.15 per week is billed to the credit card for use of the website.

Advantages

  • The Betalife program uses common sense eating plan along with regular daily exercise to safely and effectively lose weight and produce an overall healthy lifestyle.

Disadvantages

  • We could not find where to purchase the DVD’ on the official website however an old website which is now closed lists the program for $295 which can be paid in 3 month increments with a major credit card. Upon the 4th month, a membership fee of $8.15 per week is billed to the credit card for use of the website. This seems to be a lot to pay for common sense.
  • Betalife does not promote an effective appetite suppressant or fat burner along with the program.

Conclusion

The Betalife program is an eating and exercise program which can help dieters to lose weight as well as to begin a healthier lifestyle overall. The official website for Betalife boasts substantial claims which it does not appear they can substantiate. The product is said to help with weight loss and to reduce blood pressure & cholesterol while also reducing one’s risk of a heart attack. The program even promises to prevent some cancers. While the plan does provide some good advice on healthy eating and exercise, the Betalife program is really no different than other programs which provide exercise routines in the form of DVD’s along with smart food choices. However, Betalife should be commended for promoting a healthy lifestyle approach to weight loss rather than promoting a supplement or other extreme measure as a way to drop unwanted pounds.

I too have tried to cancel my subscription. I too have noticed that there is (“conveniently”) no phone number. I have also emailed once with no response, and have just tried again – awaiting response! Very poor customer service!
