What You Should Know
BioBody was originally designed for the Body For Life program to help participants track their daily diet and exercise programs. If you’re a “techy” that likes to enter and track this information on your Pocket PC, you’ll likely enjoy using this program from BioMobility. You’ll be able to enter and track a variety of areas of your program such as cardio and aerobic workouts, strength training, daily meal programs and even store a photo of “before” for extra motivation. You should also know that BioBody is now being replaced by Mobile Coach as indicated on the BioMobility website.
Product Features
While the BioBody program was originally designed for the Body For Life weight loss and exercise regimen, it can also be used with any other similar programs to track your daily results. Users are able to enter up to three cardio and aerobic workouts and as many as 144 muscle and strength building workouts. The “Today” screen helps you track your daily workouts along with your diet plan intake. The drop-down lists are designed to make it easy to prepare your daily routine and allow you edit each area individually. With BioBody you can track your results through the use of graphs and charts so you can be sure that you are staying on track with your plan. The over 600 charts and graphs allow you to enter and track your weight, protein/carb/vegetable/water intakes, body fat, exercise regimens, blood pressure and several other areas of concern for serious dieters and workout enthusiast. You can even enter a photo of yourself before you start your exercise and diet program for added motivation. The integrated utilities functions allow you to back up your data on your desktop or laptop for easy storage of your personal progress information.
Advantages
- A great program for those who are computer minded and don’t mind entering their information on a Pocket PC.
- 30 day free trial.
- The daily and monthly tracking helps to keep you in line with your program goals.
Disadvantages
- Not well suited for those who don’t carry a Pocket PC or are not computer savvy.
- BioBody appears to be somewhat outdated as it is being replaced by BioMobility’s Mobile Coach.
- There are no testimonials regarding BioBody on the website.
- There appears to be no product assurance for this product.
Conclusion
If you are tech savvy and enjoy tracking your workout and exercise results on the computer, you likely will enjoy this product. From daily food intake to monthly reviews of your progress, BioBody offers it all. However, as we mentioned, BioBody is being replaced by a more up-to-date program. The BioMobility website allows for a free thirty day trial, but does not appear to continue to support this product’s future.
