Blood Energy Potion Review
What You Should Know
Blood Energy Potion is a unique energy product formulated by Harcos Labs. The product is marketed toward vampires, but that marketing tactic is nothing more than a sales pitch. The ingredients in Blood Energy Portion include caffeine, enzymes and iron. We are not thrilled with the amount of iron in the formula, as the average dieter does not need to take a high-iron supplement and too much iron can cause severe side effects. However, for the dieter who suffers from anemia and wants to take a product that will boost energy and supply a good source of iron, Blood Energy Potion may be the perfect product.
List of Ingredients
- N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine
- Crystalline Fructose
- Whey Protein Isolate
Each pouch contains 100 ml of liquid with 80 mg of caffeine. There is a slight amount of sugar (7 grams) per serving, but the iron content is 10 mg per pouch or 55% of the RDA for the average adult. If you eat foods rich in iron, cook in a cast iron skillet or have no problems with low iron, this supplement could cause more harm than good.
There is also a bit of concern of the two sources of phenylalanine. This ingredient is known to affect mood and is contraindicated if the dieter is taking antidepressants or other prescription medications to stabilize mood. Blood Energy Potion could change how these prescription medications work.
If we put aside all the ingredients and just look at the product, Blood Energy Portion is one of the most unique products in the energy market. There is even an official website with testimonials from the “undead” and from people who’ve been “turned” and wanted a solution to stop the “Bloodlust” that caused them to do terrible things to humans. The website is all just a marketing tool for the energy supplement, but the product is created to feel like blood in the mouth and can be heated to 98.6 degrees if desired.
- Superb marketing.
- All ingredients are listed online.
- Contains only 80 mg of caffeine.
- Perfect for dieters with low iron.
- Extremely thick.
- Tastes too sweet for some dieters.
- Contains a lot of iron.
- Contains mood-altering ingredients.
While we love Harcos Labs for their ingenuity, this supplement is certainly not made for all dieters. The high iron content means this supplement has an iron taste, similar to high-iron multivitamins. The thickness is a turn off for many dieters. There are no weight loss ingredients, aside from caffeine, so dieters should continue looking for a supplement dedicated to weight loss.
