What You Should Know
Blue GrowtH, a human growth hormone supplement from Controlled Labs, claims to benefit skin, sexual health and muscle strength. Controlled Labs is a hit or miss manufacturer with some supplements offering beneficial ingredients proven to work as claimed. In other instances, the supplements are far overpriced and offer zero support for the bodybuilder. Blue GrowtH will have to pack an impressive ingredient list if they want to increase human growth hormone.
List of Ingredients
GH Complex: Safed Musli, Mucuna Pruriens, AlphaSize, Alpha-GPC, L-Theanine.
SleepCycle Health Complex: L-Carnitine, GlycoCarn, Camellia Sinesis, Griffonia Simplicifolia.
This is one of the few Controlled Labs supplements that have a short ingredient list. The GH Complex is the meat of the supplement as these ingredients aim to increase growth hormone. Safed Musli, the first and foremost ingredient in Blue GrowtH is a natural aphrodisiac and impotency treatment. While it does contain some protein, there is no association between Safed Musli and increased growth hormone.
Mucuna Pruriens is another strong aphrodisiac used to increase male and female libido. The seed can be consumed, but certain parts are toxic to humans so water must be changed multiple times during cooking to rinse out those chemicals. Aside from boosting libido, there are no other known uses.
AlphaSize or Alpha-Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline may help to sharpen mental acuity, but the claims of increasing human growth hormone and growth hormone releasing hormone are not substantiated by clinical research. Alpha-GPC is Alpha-Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline.
L-Theanine is a natural source of stimulation and may help to reduce stress and calm the user. Aside from the caffeine boost, this ingredient is not linked to human growth hormone either.
In the SleepCycle Health Complex there are two important ingredients to improve sleep. Camellia Sinesis is derived from tea and provides both antioxidant support and caffeine. This could actually make it harder to fall asleep not easier. Griffonia Simplicifolia lends 5-Hydroxytryptophan. Tryptophan is the element in turkey that supposedly makes people feel sleepy and it just may help a bit due to its connection with melatonin. Clinical studies note a positive impact on depression as well.
BlueGrowtH sells for $74.99 directly from Controlled Labs. Dieters and bodybuilders can expect to pay less for the supplement from other websites.
- Ingredients are provided on the official website.
- None of the ingredients are proven to stimulate growth hormone.
- Camellia Sinesis may cause a bit of stimulation not promote sleep.
BlueGrowtH is a miss for Controlled Labs. There is no reason to believe any of the marketing claims are reliable when the ingredient list does not back up these claims. This supplement includes two sources of caffeine and caffeine is not a supplement anyone wants to take for a deep, restful sleep.
