Body By Jake Total Body Trainer Review
What You Should Know
Body by Jake is a fitness company that many dieters know from infomercials. As is the case with many companies in the industry, Body by Jake introduces and markets new products all the time, while simultaneously discontinuing models that are no longer popular. The Total Body Trainer is a workout machine that aims to work muscles with resistance band technology.
List of Ingredients
Total body trainer designed to work all major muscle groups.
The Body by Jake Total Body Trainer is a fitness machine designed to work major muscle groups through the use of resistance bands and multi-directional upper/lower bar. The quick connect resistance bands offer an easy transition between exercise requiring additional weight. The product is no longer available on the official website, only third-party ecommerce retailers.
The maximum user weight limit is 300 lbs. This is an industry standard and will typically accommodate the average dieter. We did notice the padded seat was slimmer than traditional bench seating. This could provide comfort issues for some dieters.
The compact design of the Body by Jake Total Body Trainer allows dieters to store the unit under a bed or in a closet when not in use. Folded, the Body by Jake Total Body Trainer takes up less than 2 feet. The Body by Jake Total Body Trainer weighs approximately 40 pounds making moving the product relatively simple.
We found the price excessive considering it is no longer available on the official website. With bonus features factored into the price, the total is $200. This is more expensive compared to similar total body trainers.
- One year warranty.
- Maximum user weight of 300 lbs.
- Not designed for taller individuals.
- Online complaints of resistance bands breaking.
- Not available on the official website.
The Body by Jake Total Body Trainer is a unique machine. We love the compact size of the machine. Unfortunately, if a dieter is taller than average, they will have a difficult time fitting into the product. The seat does not adjust, simply the upper bar. Any of the available exercises pose a challenge, if not danger for taller individuals.
Since the product is no longer available on the official website, the resistance bands are not guaranteed. Several online fraud sites reported the resistance bands breaking. We could only find the Body by Jake Total Body Trainer on third-party ecommerce site such as Amazon.com for $200. This is expensive considering not every dieter will have the opportunity to use the product.
We also found the product to lack necessary features in a high quality piece of fitness equipment. The Body by Jake Total Body Trainer is not available with an exercise guide, diet guide or a supplementation guide. All three are necessary to achieve maximum weight loss.
