Bodybuilders.com is not actually a diet product, but a website. The website itself is based in Boise, Idaho. The function and goal of the website according to itself is to inform, instruct, demonstrate, motivate and distribute. They want to inform the user about body building, instruct the user with videos, articles, and motivate them with pictures, other user success stories, and lots and lots of information. The site also has a vast supply of different products that many body builders and fitness gurus use themselves and they distribute these products from three warehouses and one retail store from around the country. You can purchase DVD’s, supplements, shakes, and fitness equipment from many different companies such as Amber Athletic Equipment, Back to Basics, 5 Hour Energy, Oganica Research, and many, many more.

Advantages

  • No gym membership required.
  • This place has tons of information. There are printable work out logs, Downloadable videos, motivational articles, and a place to buy whatever you need for your weight loss or body building goals.
  • There are also different forums you can take part in.
  • Disadvantages

  • There’s no accountability except yourself. You’ve got to stick with it because you want it.
  • Sometimes sites endorse products that aren’t for you, but without being really familiar with everything on the market, you could end up spending quite a bit to find what’s right.
  • With all that information, some of us might tend to go into information overload and just give up. There’s a lot to absorb.
  • Conclusion

Bodybuilders.com is a great place to go to find information, inspiration and motivation. There are so many different articles, supplements, and videos to choose from, you could navigate for hours. Be aware of your own body and proceed with caution when ordering the supplements. Every weightlifter and fitness competitor has their choice and sometimes these things are endorsed because they’re paid to endorse them…that doesn’t make them good quality. Many supplements can provide way too much sugar for what you are trying to accomplish or have ingredients that your body is sensitive to. Always do extra research when purchasing on line without being able to try it first. While a website is a good resource it doesn’t replace traditional trainers in the areas of proper form and when to know you’ve done too much. Sometimes we need a guiding hand when learning how to lift properly. We also need to pay attention to the credentials of who we are reading. Some people have years of experience, but maybe they are not fueling their body properly. What works for them may not work for you, so be open to trying more than one thing for success. There are enough articles to keep you going for a very long time!!!
