What You Should Know
Carnitall is nothing more than an L-carnitine supplement with multiple sources of L-carnitine. The supplement is available online and a complete list of ingredients is published on the Jarrow Formulas website. Jarrow Formulas is the company behind Carnitall. While the main function of the supplement is not to promote weight loss, there is mention of metabolization of fatty acids. We find it extremely interesting that a company as popular as Jarrow Formulas fails to provide any links to clinical research completed on L-carnitine. There is lots of research to choose from, but no studies are provided.
List of Ingredients
- Fumaric Acid
- Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCL
- Arginine HCL
- Propionyl-L-Carnitine HCL
Carnitall uses three ingredient combinations in the formula. The combinations are L-Carnitine Fumurate, Acetyl-L-Carnitine Arginate Dihydrochloride and Acetyl-L-Carnitine Taurinate Hydrochloride. These names are nothing more than fancy ways to say the individual ingredients.
Jarrow Formulas is not completely wrong in stating that L-Carnitine is responsible for fat metabolism. It does play an important part in cellular energy production and use, but taking a supplement with three types of carnitine is not going to boost weight loss or create the perfect cellular scenario for faster fat metabolism. With that said, many weight loss supplement contain at least a small amount of L-carnitine, so dieters tend to trust L-carnitine. However, proven weight loss supplements that contain L-carnitine also contain other ingredients like caffeine, chromium and green tea. These ingredients are proven to boost metabolism and curb appetite. This is the heart of weight loss supplementation, not L-carnitine.

There is not much chance this supplement is going to give dieters the metabolism boost they are looking for in a fat burner. We’d love to say this stimulant free supplement will boost metabolism and help the dieter lose weight, but not even Jarrow Formulas has the research to make that claim. The company behind this formula fails to support claims and there are no testimonials for dieters to learn more about how the supplement works for the dieter in real-life use.
