What You Should Know
CCB by ProFight claims to be the hottest new fat burner on the market, but the ingredient list doesn’t live up to that moniker. We found the supplement on several nutrition websites and all offered a list of ingredient and/or picture of the product label. The price of CCB by ProFight is about $70 a bottle, but dieters would be better off choosing a green tea supplement with caffeine to burn more fat.
List of Ingredients
- Calcium Pyruvate
- Alpha Lipoic Acid
- Vitamin B1
- Vitamin B2
- Vitamin B5
- Vitamin B6
- Folic Acid
- Vitamin C
- Vitamin B12
- Vanadyl Sulfate
Of the ingredients in CCB by ProFight, the vanadyl sulfate is the only ingredient with any clinical support. The ingredient works by keeping healthy blood glucose levels within normal limits. It works similarly to insulin. Controlling blood glucose levels is important when dieting because carbohydrates can cause an intense rise and fall in blood glucose levels leaving the dieter feeling hungry.
The majority of the remaining ingredients are often found in your daily multi-vitamin. Taking more of these vitamins is not going to increase effectiveness or improve weight loss. If you choose CCB by ProFight, the supplement should be taken in the morning moving your daily multivitamin to the afternoon. CCB is packed with B vitamins. B vitamins help convert food to energy, but they don’t last very long in the body before passing out in urine.
ProFight claims CCB will increase energy, boost metabolism and increase fat loss. We found no ingredients in the formula to live up to any of these claims.
- A complete list of ingredients is available in the CCB product description.
- Vanadyl sulfate may help control blood glucose levels.
- One bottle contains one month’s supply.
- None of the ingredients back up health claims.
- Most of the ingredients can be found in a daily multivitamin.
We are not sold on CCB by ProFight. The ingredient list is nothing more than your daily multivitamin with some L-carnitine, alpha lipoic acid, l-tyrosine and vanadyl sulfate. Proven fat burners typically contain at least one stimulant ingredient, even if it’s a mild stimulant like green tea. CCB doesn’t bother to include any clinical proof of any claims and ProFight doesn’t stop at weight loss claims. The company takes the product description over the top claiming the supplement also increases immunity and improves heart health.
