Protein Factory produces hundreds of supplements for fat loss, energy, muscle gains and weight gains. CFM Whey Isolate is an ingredient in many of the protein products sold by Protein Factory. Consumers can choose one of the pre-formulated protein shake mixes or formulate a protein shake of their own by adding ingredients to CFM Whey Isolate. Ingredients consumers can add to the whey powder include aminogen, Carbogen, glutamine peptides, microlactin, muscle gainers, vitamins and minerals. Ideally, a dieter could add vitamins and minerals to the base CFM Whey Isolate and achieve a healthy, carbohydrate-free, fat-free meal replacement shake mix with about 110 calories per serving and 27 grams of protein. There is nothing leaner and healthier than a protein-rich meal replacement shake.

Product Features

Amino acids for the production of energy and protein synthesis. All proteins supply amino acids, but CFM Whey Isolate claims their amino acid profile is better than the competitor’s profile. Ideally, Protein Factory would have listed an amino acid profile from another product to show the difference between that product and CFM Whey Isolate. Without such a comparison, we are only left with a long list of names and numbers.

CFM Whey Isolate is a healthy source of protein, however. There are 27 grams of protein per serving with no fat or carbohydrates. Dieters and bodybuilders following a low carb diet could use CFM Whey Isolate without interrupting the normal eating plan. For strict Atkins dieters, fat would need to be added to the protein shake in order to maintain ketosis.

While protein is not going to boost metabolism, clinical studies have shown protein may slow down digestion and prevent hunger between meals. Dieters should be wary of consuming too much protein however. Excessive protein transforms into carbohydrates in the body.

CFM Whey Isolate sells for $10.50 per pound before any additional ingredients are added to the supplement. There is an added charge for some flavors, as well.
