Colonetix is a colon cleansing supplement jumping into weight loss like so many others. The art of colon cleansing has been around for thousands of years, but weight loss has never been associated with the process. Today, the quick water loss associated with natural laxatives and diuretics, like those commonly used in colon cleansing supplements, are infiltrating natural weight loss with short-term weight loss effects and dehydration.

Colonetix is a two-phase cleansing program. The first stage involves cleansing the colon and the second purifying the body. Both supplements come with one order of Colonetix from the official website.

List of Ingredients

Colon Cleanser: Psyllifiber, Oatvantage, ViscoFiber, CoroWise, Litesse, Fibersol-2, Linum Life Flaxseed Lignans, VitaVeggie, VitaBerry, Probiotics Hardistrain, Apple Pectin, Fenugreek, Buckwheat Fiber, Grapefruit Pectin.

Body Purifier: Magnesium Oxide, L. Acidophilus, Milk Thistle, Dandelion Root, Uva Ursi, Buchu Leaves, Ginger Root, Hyssop, Wormwood, Aloe Vera, Cascara Sagrada, Cranberry, Pomegranate, Acai, Chamomile, Tumeric, Apple Cider Vinegar, Slippery Elm, Peppermint, Lemon, Chamomile, Pumpkin Seed, Marshmallow, Cinnamon.

Product Features

The ingredient list is very interesting for the Colonetix program. The colon cleanser contains fiber, as to be expected, in various forms. Most of the colon cleansing ingredients have branded names, so instead of adding oat fiber, Colonetix chooses to add OatVantage. This is not a different ingredient, just a different name. After a long list of fibers, there is some apple and grapefruit pectin to balance out the formula. The dieter should drink lots of water with this supplement as fiber is a bulk forming laxative that can cause severe constipation.

The body purifier has laxative ingredients as well, which is not common. Typically the colon cleanser is home to the colon cleansing ingredients and the body purifier sticks with diuretics. In this case, both supplements have natural laxatives and the body purifier has the stronger ingredients like Cascara Sagrada and Magnesium Dioxide. There are, however, several diuretics as well including uva ursi, dandelion root and buchu leaves.

The price for Colonetix is $39.99 a month. There is a 100% money back guarantee for 90 days after purchase.

Advantages

  • All ingredients are listed online.
  • The ingredients will increase urination and bowel movements.

Disadvantages

  • No fat burner ingredients.
  • Weight loss ingredients are not included in the formula of any kind.
  • Long-term cleansing is not suggested though free bottles are offered for six month’s purchase.

Conclusion

We do not suggest using Colonetix for weight loss. Colon cleansing ingredients will decrease the number of the scale for a brief period of time, but laxative use during weight loss in an unhealthy choice. The weight that falls off is water weight and it will return shortly, so the dieter is simply spending money to use the bathroom more often and lose weight temporarily.
