What You Should Know
Colopril was developed by Pharmaxa Labs and is marketed as a colon cleanser. It claims the ability to not only cleanse the colon, but promote weight loss as well. It claims that by cleansing the colon users will also be able to speed up their metabolism so that essential nutrients are absorbed more easily. Users are supposed to start by taking two of the capsules daily (1 during the day and 1 at night) and increase the dosage if needed, but they should not exceed more than six capsules in a 24-hour period. Users should expect two to three healthy bowel movements per day when they are taking the right dosage. Colopril can be taken by both men and women of almost all fitness levels.
Ingredients
Cascara Sagrada Bark, Fennel Seed, Psylium Seed, Ginger Root, Oat Bran, Alfalfa Leaf, Apple Pectin, Apple Powder, Barley Rice Fiber, Beet Root, Lemon Peel, Mint Leaf, Lactobacillus Acidophilus, Guar Gum and Garlic.
Product Features
The ingredient Cascara Sagrada Bark may be effective in relieving constipation, gas, colitis and bloating. It may also possess detoxifying properties to help promote the cleansing of the colon. Cascara Sagrada Bark also contains substances called anthraquinones which can have a laxative effect in turn helping to support healthy bowel movements. Colopril also contains the ingredient Ginger Root which is believed to alleviate many ailments of the digestive tract. The ingredient Psylium Seed is thought to promote peristalsis, absorb toxins and alleviate constipation. The ingredient Lactobacillus Acidophilus is believed to aid in healthy digestion and help to prevent inflammatory bowel disease and infectious diarrhea. There is also a lot of fiber in this product and fiber is essential to a healthy bowel, colon and digestive tract.
Advantages
- Colopril contains all natural ingredients.
- There are plenty of user testimonials posted on several websites about this product.
Disadvantages
- Colopril is expensive when compared to other colon cleansing products.
- This product does not contain any proven appetite suppressants or fat burners so it is unlikely that it will be an effective weight loss supplement.
- The recommended daily usage isn’t the same for everyone.
- There doesn’t seem to be a satisfaction guarantee for Colopril.
Conclusion
Colopril doesn’t really stand out from the rest of the colon cleansers available today. There is also no absolute evidence to prove that this product will work for everyone. Colopril does not seem to be an effective weight loss supplement because there are no proven fat burners or appetite suppressors in it so those seeking weight loss may want to research other products that are intended for weight loss. Users will need to assess their health and fitness goals and decide if using Colopril is right for them.

I think that like any product that is made from natural items like fennel seed, psylium husk, etc. it depends on the person whether it works or not and in what quantity it is effective. I have used colopril for over a year now. I have Chrons disease which causes chronic problems with the digestive system. I have always sought products that ease or relieve digestive problems as mine are numerous when I have flare-ups. I will tell you all this, for me, my digestive system is quieter and bowel movements more regular when I take colopril. As others, I had an initial reaction. This happens with anyone who has not used Psylium or Fennel in quantity ever. You have to give it about 3 weeks for your system to eliminate the toxins, adjust to a more regular cycle. Several times over the past year, I ran out of colopril and decided I would see what happens without it for a week or so. My system usually has a bad reaction and my chrons flairs up. This is always devastating for me as the flare-ups are not just digestive. I have osteoarthritis caused by the chrons and it flares as well meaning all my joints swell and hurt. I then order more colopril and the digestive system quiets again.
Again, I am not advocating this for everyone. I think people need to try different products and see what works for them. God knows, I have tried a few and many did nothing for me.

February, 2011. Took Colopril for 7 days, and ended up with severe digestive problems. I ended up seeing a gastro doctor. CAUTION! Reported the manufacturer to the Federal Trade Commission.
