What You Should Know
Dr. Miller’s YouThin is a four capsule packet offering a metabolism booster, multi-vitamin, fat burner and appetite suppressant for dieters who wish to lost weight fast. Created by Dr. Bill Miller, a PhD, the YouThin supplement is aimed at the dieter who wants to lose weight without having to count calories.
Ginseng, White Willow Bark, FO-Ti, Licorice, Chromium Picolinate, Cornsilk, Potassium, Vitamin B-6, Buchu Leaves, Cayenne Powder, Astralagus, Cranberry Extract, Guarana, Garcinia Cambogia, Choline, Inositol, Lecithin, L-Methionine, and Phosphatidyl Serine.
The Dr. Miller’s YouThin supplement pack consists of four tablets. The Multi-Vitamin contains ingredients that can account for some of the fat burning claim, cayenne powder, but the ingredient list is far from that of most Multi-Vitamins. The Appetite Suppressant contains Guarana, which is a known caffeine energy supplement, and Garcinia Cambogia, which is often used in herbal appetite suppressants without proof of efficacy. The Metabolism Booster contains no ingredients that are known to increase metabolism. The Fat Burner contains no ingredients that help to burn fat.
Some of the ingredients in Dr. Miller’s You Thin program are questionable. The ingredient list contains laxatives which are not a safe way to lose weight. Potassium supplementation is also something that needs to be watched carefully in people who are on a salt free diet or who have problems with their kidneys but there are no warnings on the website to this effect.
There are testimonials on the website, but there is no explanation as to which supplement on the website was taken to achieve the results. Many of the testimonials are pictures only. There is also contact information for email and mail contact. Phone contact is prohibited in order to keep costs lower according to the website.
- Convenient single dose packaging.
- Lower cost at $39.95 for 20 days supply.
- No listing of how much of each herb is in the YouThin supplements.
- No telephone contact information.
- Questionable ingredients.
- The 20 packages will last less than one month.
- No warnings on the website for people with health problems.
The ingredient list for the Dr. Miller’s YouThin program does not contains ingredients which are commonly used for the noted purpose. There are no fat burners in the Fat Burner supplement. The Appetite Suppressant contains high levels of caffeine and the Multi-Vitamin is stretching the definition of multi-vitamin. At this time is would be difficult to support this product due to the lack of scientific evidence that the supplement works to help lower weight and the lack of herbal amounts on the ingredient listing. If the product will make the user lose weight faster than they ever thought possible, the amount of herbs used should be listed.
