Dr Mings Chinese Capsule is full of interesting ingredients and outrageous claims. This supplement is not likely to promote weight loss simply because the ingredients are no designed to or proven to decrease appetite or increase metabolism. Several of the ingredients have names we have not yet encountered so we are interested to see what ingredients Dr Ming placed in the Chinese capsule formula.

When it comes to choosing a safe weight loss supplement, dieters need to be able to research the ingredients and find information from reliable sources. There are few reliable sources for Chinese herbal ingredients.

List of Ingredients

  • Ginger
  • Camellia
  • Malus Domestica
  • Proprietary Blend
  • Cynara Scolymus
  • Hoodia
  • Spirulina
  • Chitosan

Product Features

Ginger is often used in alternative medicine to aid in digestion and calms the stomach. Ginger teas can be used to fight nausea and vomiting, but there is no use for ginger in terms of weight loss.

Camellia is green tea extract. Green tea extract has a wealth of supportive research out there, but the makers of Dr Mings Chinese Capsule did not bother to support the connection between green tea and weight loss with research. We are not told how much green tea is in the supplement.

Malus Domestica is a type of apple tree. The apple could be included as apple fiber, common in Chinese weight loss capsules, but there is no verifiable information on how this extract will aid in weight loss.

Proprietary blend could mean any number of combined ingredients. Dieters should never take a weight loss supplement with unknown ingredients, let alone a collection of who knows how many unknown ingredients.

Cynara Scolymus is artichoke extract. Artichoke extract is a natural diuretic and it will help the dieter lose weight, but the fluid extracted from the body is not always in excess of normal levels. Diuretics don’t stop forcing fluid out of the body when levels run low, so negative side effects can occur.

  • Some ingredients are listed online.
  • Contains green tea extract.

  • Contains a natural diuretic.
  • The proprietary blend is comprised of unknown ingredients.
  • There is no explanation of why some ingredients are included in Dr Mings Chinese Capsule formula.

Dr Mings Chinese Capsule is not a safe and effective weight loss supplement. There is some green tea extract in the mix, but that ingredient does not stop the possible negative side effects associated with taking a diuretic for weight loss. Though weight loss supplements are no designed to be taken long-term, they should e safe enough to take for months without risking dehydration and electrolyte imbalance – associated with long-term diuretic use.
