Dr. Natura is a very well known name in colon cleansing. Most supplements created by the manufacturer are in capsule or tablet form, but Dr. Natura ColonAide is delivered in packet form. The supplement mixes with water; a common new method of taking cleansing and weight loss supplements. The delivery does not greatly impact how the supplement works as the ingredients are still digested and passed through the liver before working in the body, even in liquid form.

List of Ingredients

Psyllium Husk, Flax Seed, Fennel Seed, Papaya Fruit, Grapefruit Pectin, Slippery Elm Bark, Marshmallow Root, Rhubarb Root, Guar Gum, Alfalfa, Peppermint Leaf, Uva Ursi Leaf, Stevia Leaf Extract, Licorice Root and Aloe Vera.

Product Features

Dr. Natura ColonAide starts with psyllium husk, a natural bulk-forming laxative. Psyllium husk must be taken with plenty of water to work as a laxative or colon cleanser in the body. When enough water is not consumed, it can cause constipation.

The next interesting ingredient is Papaya Fruit. This ingredient is often used to counteract slow digestion and a feeling of fullness. Slippery Elm Bark, Marshmallow Root, Licorice Root and Aloe Vera are all used as natural laxatives. Just one of these ingredients will increase bowel movements and loose stools. When combined, the dieter can expect to spend some serious time in the bathroom.

To pack even more cleansing into Dr. Natura ColonAide, the manufacturer added Peppermint Leaf and Uva Uris, both of which have diuretic properties. Diuretics increase urination and cause the dieter to make frequent stops at the bathroom.

Aside from the strong laxative and diuretic ingredients added to Dr. Natura ColonAide, there are no other benefits of taking the supplement. Dieters will not see an increase in metabolism or weight loss, unless associated with water weight. If the dieter stops taking the supplement, which they should after only one bottle, the weight will return.

Dr. Natura ColonAide does not sell from the official website, but buyers can purchase the supplement online or in stores for $39.99. No free trials are offered which is a negative because some dieters may not like the taste.

Advantages

  • Ingredients are listed online.
  • The product is found in stores and online.

Disadvantages

  • Natural laxatives are not a safe part of weight loss.
  • Diuretics lead to dehydration.
  • Laxatives can cause difficulty making a natural bowel movement.
  • The price is far higher than other fiber supplements or cleansing supplements.

Conclusion

Though Dr. Natura is a trusted name in colon cleansing, this product may be a bit more expensive than some people are willing to pay for a 14-day program. Natural laxatives can be hard on the body and this one contains several laxative ingredients compounded with diuretics. No weight loss benefits could be found associated with this product.

When taking this product, does it help with preventing in becoming dehydrated from water loss through bowel movements and urinating due to diuretics?
