Basically the Eat Right 4 Your Type program can be broken down into four different categories, which are Right 4 Type A, Right 4 Type B, Right 4 Type O and Right for Type AB.     My testimony and a ????
    B4 getting on the diet for type”A”, (my blood type A positive)my stomach was always upset no matter what I ate. I was constantly having to use the bathroom. I ate alot of beef and chicken. I have been on the diet for five days now, my focus is much better, I have more energy, but my stomach is still upset, granted not as bad. However, instead of having the use the bathroom, I find myself constapated. I drink alot of water everyday, in fact that’s all I drink because my body does not do well with sugar. I want to stay on the diet, but I would rather be using the bathroom then not being able to. Has anyone else find they have or had the same problems, if so what did you do to help yourself.

    HI Scott, I am a nutrition and I put everyone on the blood type because it works. You may need a little extra hydrochloric acid to digest your protein. Blood type A’s typically don’t have a lot. I
    would try some magnesium for the constipation. 3 tsp. of Peter Gillian’s CALM works wonders! You can get it at any health food store. Good luck! Kelly

    I am curious as to what does it mean to be a secretor or non-secretor? Also, I purchased the book and I can do this, its not hard. I have been feeling better. I have to order another book because I gave it away to help my cousin and by the way has lost 8lbs and feeling good.

    Hello. I am in the health care industry and would like a couple of questions answered if you could.
    1. Why is Soy recommended at all and in the research I have read Whole Soy Storyby Kaayla Daniel.PHD,CCN. That shows Soy is not a food choice.
    2. Canola Oil.. That is a petrochemical only recommended for Carseg Disel ..
    3. YOu do not recommend Coconut or its Oils. Please update your recommendations. The research has been done and it is a safe and beneficial Oil.
    YOur book came out in 1989…. So much has been done in these recommendations and when I suggest my clients use your book as a guide I need to give updated research on the subjects mentioned.
    Dr Bruce Fife on Miracle of Coconut Oil is worth the read.

    coconut oils not good for everyone my friends a nutritionist who swear’s by her oils coconut, cod liver oil ect. but these oil gave me an horrible stomach pain type o call handel oils much better than a blood type a



    I believe the book was written b/4 Bruce Fife and Mary Enig’s quality research on coconut oil, and coconut in general. It is a very healthy oil, read bruce fife, book, and look up Mary Enig, you will understand.

    I have been on the eat right for your blood type for the past ten years but I cant seem to loose my belly fat. I walk(vigorous) 5miles six days of the week but it is still there. I am frustrated because I know I am healthy but the belly fat.

    For belly fat I would suggest you get a Jane Fonda exercise CD. I don’t know how old you are but even if you don’t do anything but her waist and stomach exercises they are good for you even if you don’t like Jane her work outs are totally awsome. I don’t have a lot of time for working out so I just do her waist and stomach work outs and it has made a big difference. I have lost 9lbs. and dropped one size so far. Good Luck!

    Let me rephrase my previous comments. Before starting the blood type diet, I found that all the foods I had been eating were on the avoid list and that’s why I always felt sick (stomach ache) and always felt sluggish.



    I have been on the diet for O blood type for over 3 weeks and I, also, am amazed. The foods on my avoid list used to be the bulk of my diet! It has taken a while to develop a system to have the right foods avaialble, but I feel great, am eating fresh foods and avoiding processed foods as well as dairy and wheat. Amazing! I have lost close to 5 pounds. I would love to hear about other peoples successes and comments.

    I have been on the diet for over 2 months. I am very active and have been for many years. I am with you… I have never felt better. No inflammation, lots of energy and good foods. I am type O also. I… is good for me not everyone is the same as the book says so you better try for yourself. Happy eating and exercise toy you.

    I have used this diet and it REALLY works! I ate only the foods on the list and ate as much of it as I wanted. I am a type A and found that all the foods I ate were on the avoid list. I actually get tired of eating during my meal because I just don’t fill up. I wind up eating several times a day.
