Elite 1300 By Nordic Track Review
What You Should Know
The Elite 1300 Elliptical by Nordic Track is a commercial grade Elliptical with a long stride and solid feel. Nordic Track is a trusted name in fitness equipment but that does not mean the user will continue to work out consistently enough to pay the hefty price for this piece of home gym equipment.
List of Ingredients
Commercial grade elliptical machine.
The Elite 1300 Elliptical by Nordic Track is considered one of the better designs offered for the home gym. With a 20″ stride, users will feel more like they are flying through the air rather than working out. Unlike other home ellipticals, the Elite 1300 by Nordic Track offers six display windows allowing for simultaneous readouts for calories burned, distance traveled, heart rate, time and resistance. Large scale fans are also integrated into the console offering a bit of cooling power over other home models that simply push tiny bits of air at the face. With 15 preprogrammed workouts and one touch resistance adjustment, there is little negative to say about how the machine is constructed.
In terms of weight loss, however, the Elite 1300 by Nordic Track cannot make a person workout and this is a common problem with all fitness equipment. Dieters often purchase equipment on a whim and find the machine collecting dust a short time after the purchase. Cost wise, the Elite 1300 by Nordic Track would not be a purchase for the beginner. The machine can be found online for around $1250 plus shipping and handling. After the machine is received, it can take three to six hours to assemble for two people.
There are no weight limits listed for the Elite 1300 by Nordic Track or any other designs by the company. Most ellipticals manufactured for home use have a limit of 250 to 300 pounds. If this is the case with the Elite 1300, some users may be left out.

Working out at a gym or at home is a crucial part of weight loss. Most often, however, home gym equipment is purchased without much thought and then left to collect dust while other weight loss options are tried. The Elite 1300 by Nordic Track is too costly for the beginner who wants to try out an elliptical machine.
