It took a long time to figure this out, but I believe this super green ener-food drink caused me rapid heartbeat and high blood pressure after each of two trial usages of it, and after one drink on a third trial, my blood pressure raised again, enough for me to know to throw this stuff out. I first tried it about 7 years ago and then went to the doctor for rapid heart rate and he found that my blood pressure was high, too. He didn’t put me on medications because he tested my thyroid. I had low thyroid, inconsistent with my symptoms. I quit using the green drink for a while and my symptoms disappeared after some time. When I started using the green drink a second time, same symptoms appeared. Discontinued usage and symptoms again went away after about a month. Tried the enerfood one more time and checked my blood pressure on my home b/p monitor and it definitely had increased some from just one green drink. Right then I threw out my remaining green drink powder. Who knows, maybe I’m the only one on the planet that would have this reaction to this food, but I think it has to do with all the seaweed in it—perhaps has a high iodine content or something that messes with the thyroid. Anyway, I just wanted to give a heads-up to anyone using this stuff. It caused me a lot of grief, thinking I had something medically wrong with me. But I’m totally back to normal now.
