Ephedraburn is one of the few products we have recently reviewed that claims to contain good, old-fashioned Ephedra. Ephedra is not legal for sale as a weight loss or energy product in the United States, yet this company claims to add 10 mg of ma huang (Ephedra) in every serving of Ephedraburn. Moreover, the website claims Ephedraburn is back but mentions a product called Looking Trim. There are also magazines for sale on the website, so the professional quality of the website is a bit lacking.

List of Ingredients

Ma Huang, Guarana, Garcinia Cambogia, White Willow Bark, L-Arginine Pyroglutamate, L-Glutamine, L-Tyrosine, L-Lysine and Anterior Pituitary Isolates.

Product Features

Ma Huang is the mother of all fat burners. When combined with caffeine and white willow bark, this source of Ephedra creates one of the only known fat burners to help dieters melt away fat without diet or exercise. Unfortunately, Ephedra is illegal and it is known to cause a long list of negative side effects, including death. Even though this ingredient is listed on the label, we doubt highly if the company is selling an Ephedra product.

Guarana is the source of caffeine, 75 mg to be exact. This is just enough caffeine to boost metabolism or work as the C in the ECA (Ephedra, caffeine, aspirin) stack. Caffeine is proven to help the dieter achieve weight loss goals with a healthy diet and exercise. Plus, it adds a bit of an energy boost, as well.

Garcinia cambogia is a fat burner currently under the FDA microscope for potential liver damage. No definitive results have shown this link, but consumer complaints forced the FDA into the picture and many products containing garcinia cambogia were voluntarily taken off shelves thanks to a nudge from the FDA.

White willow bark is the aspirin or A in the ECA stack. This ingredient is a pain killer, but it works similarly to aspirin in the blood. Aspirin is a blood thinner.

There is no pricing information on the website and the security certificate for the order page is expired, so dieters have to risk getting a computer virus or other form of computer problem by visiting the order page. The company last updated the official website in 2005, so we assume this product is no longer being sold with Ephedra.

  • Ephedra increases weight loss and fat burn.
  • Ingredients are listed on the official website.

  • The product goes by two names, Ephedraburn and Looking Trim.
  • Ephedra is illegal in the United States.

There is no reason to trust a company that claims to include an illegal ingredient in their supplement. Looking at the expiration date, it seems the company chose to jump ship when Ephedra was banned and just left the website up for one reason or another. The order page still exists and consumers can order the product.
