There is a significant warning included in the product description on all websites selling the supplement. The warning is associated with the large stimulant portion of the ingredient list that will likely increase heart rate and blood pressure.

List of Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • Bitter Orange
  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • Guarana
  • Green Tea Extract
  • N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine

Product Features

Bitter orange is also known as citrus aurantium or synephrine. When ephedra was banned many supplement companies took their old formulas and switched out synephrine for ephedra. Soon, synephrine became known as the ephedra alternative. Synephrine or bitter orange is a stimulant that will increase heart rate, but it also comes with a long list of negative side effects.

Caffeine anhydrous is one of those staple ingredients you can bet on when reviewing a stimulant fat burner. This supplement claims to include only 117 mg of caffeine, but that doesn’t take into account the caffeine supplement by the guarana in the formula.

Guarana is a stimulant that is often standardized for caffeine. We’ve seen guarana standardized for 200 mg of caffeine or more – so there is no telling how much caffeine or caffeine effect, the 20 mg of guarana accounts for in Evo Labs T5.

If you want to choose a proven thermogenic with clinical evidence from human studies you can’t go wrong with green tea extract. Clinical studies proven amounts of 300 mg to 350 mg are best, but this supplement contains only 20 mg of green tea. That is less than the amount in one cup of green tea.
