Ephedra, Bitter Orange, Guarana Extract, Panax Ginseng, Siberian Ginseng, White Willow Bark, and Yerba Mate.
Ephedra is an ingredient that has been banned in the United States due to it’s addictiveness and potentially harmful side effects. It has been known to cause hypertension, stroke, heart attack, nervousness, and even sudden death in some situations. It is believed that the reason it is so addictve is because of it’s close relation to the Amphetamine family. Bee Pollen is said to increase your energy levels and boost your immune system. However, this claim does lack solid scientific and clinical evidence. Bitter Orange is a scientifically proven ingredient that is also known as Citrus Aurantium. It is claimed to be the safe alternative to Ephedra, but it has very similar side effects, and it even has the same alkaloid makeup as Ephedra does. No one knows why this ingredient has not been banned along with the Ephedra. Guarana Seed Extract comes from a plant that is native to the Amazon Rain Forest. It is said to be a pure form of caffeine that has a type of time release effect delivering several tiny boosts of energy. Panax and American Ginseng are both known to increase your awareness, improve focus, and boost your energy. They are known as stimulants. White Willow Bark Extract comes from a plant that is native to Europe and Asia. It is very closely related to Aspirin and we are not exactly sure as to what effect it actually has on weight loss. Yerba Mate is a type of Holly plant that is native to South America. It contains a large concentrated amount of caffeine. It is often used as an appetite suppressant also to boost your metabolism.
