What You Should Know
Fashion Nature Slimming Coffee is an instant coffee with a few added surprises. According to the product description, the supplement / beverage can help “healthy, white-collar lose weight.” We are not really sure what this statement means, but there are similar cryptic statements throughout the product description. Typically, if a product description is unreadable the supplement is unsafe, but we will give the product a once over to see if the ingredient list is worth a second consideration.
List of Ingredients
- Carnitine Tartrate Salt
- Hydroxyl Citric Acid
- Tea Polyphenols
- Senna Acid
- Insoluble Ash
- Alisma Orientalis
- Lotus Leaf Extract
- Instant Coffee
It appears the ingredients in this formula are just as scrambled as the product description, but we were able to pull some familiar names from the list. It appears there are some common fat burning supplement ingredients packed with instant coffee.
Hydroxyl citric acid could be the same as hydroxycitric acid or garcinia cambogia. Several slimming coffee products we have reviewed contain this ingredient. Garcinia cambogia may be associated with liver damage and should be avoided by dieters at all costs.
Tea polyphenols could mean the supplement contains green tea. If that is the case, we support using green tea for weight loss, but we have no idea if this ingredient is green tea or if there is enough green tea to promote metabolism if it actually is green tea.
Senna is a stimulant laxative. Unfortunately, many weight loss teas and coffees add laxatives to the mix to promote weight loss, but all these ingredients do is speed up the process of moving waste through the intestines. This can cause diarrhea and dehydration.
- We found an ingredient list – though difficult to read.
- Contains caffeine and, possibly, green tea.
- Contains garcinia cambogia.
- Contains a stimulant laxative.
- The product description is extremely difficult to read.
Fashion Nature Slimming Coffee is nothing more than instant coffee combined with some fat burning ingredients. Some of the ingredients appear to be common ingredients used in fat burners, but we are just guessing since the names are not identical. The addition of a stimulant laxative moves this product from a weight loss supplement to a laxative ingredient. Laxatives have a place in supplementation, but that place is not in the weight loss market. This is especially true of stimulant laxatives. Stimulant laxatives can cause cramping, diarrhea and dehydration.
