Final Cutz Review
What You Should Know
After working long and hard on the building or bulking phase of bodybuilding, athletes enter the cutting phase. While cutting, calories are reduced and fat burners are taken with diuretics to reduce body fat and water retention. The idea is to shed as much fat and water as possible before competition. Final Cutz is a supplement designed for bodybuilders, not dieters. The formula is extremely strong and it contains mood boosters to keep bodybuilders in the right frame of mind to handle hunger and increased aerobic exercise. All ingredients are included in a proprietary blend, but the total amount of caffeine is listed. There is 100 mg of timed release caffeine and 100 mg of common caffeine. That is a total of 200 mg of caffeine, but half of that is released into the body over time.
List of Ingredients
CLA Oil, Phenylethylamine HCL, Caffeine Anhydrous (Time Release), Caffeine Anhydrous, Hordenine, Synephrine HCL, Evodiamine, Guggulsterones EZ, Black Pepper Extract, Piperine, Tyramine HCL, Sclareolide, N-Methyl-Phenylethylamine.
The first ingredient in the formula is conjugated linoleic acid. This ingredient is tested and proven to decrease body fat and increase lean muscle mass in athletes. While there is no proof this ingredient will help the average dieter lose weight, there is proof it helps athletes achieve fat loss goals.
Next is phenylethylamine HCL. This ingredient is a mood booster that comes with severe side effects if the dieter suffers from depression, anxiety or other mood disorder. This ingredient is not safe for some bodybuilders and should be approached with caution.
Caffeine is proven to boost metabolism and energy. Final Cutz includes both timed release and common caffeine. Caffeine lasts 12 hours in the body, so we are not sure why there is a need for timed release caffeine. Taking this supplement could affect sleep even if it is taken only in the morning.
Synephrine is a stimulant with similar potential side effects to ephedra. It is not proven to work as well as ephedra for fat burning.
Black pepper extract is included to increase absorption of other ingredients. It will not affect fat burning or metabolism.
- Final Cutz includes caffeine, known to increase energy and metabolism.
- The total amount of caffeine is listed on the label.
- May reduce body fat.
- No diuretics are included in the formula.
- May be too strong for the average dieter.
- Includes a mood altering ingredient.
Final Cutz is clearly designed for the bodybuilding and not the dieter, though the formula is missing a diuretic. The timed release caffeine is a bit of a concern, as the bodybuilder will likely feel the effects of caffeine well beyond the normal 12 hour period. It is best to start out with the smallest dose and work up to the full dose to prevent negative caffeine side effects.
