Fresh Diet Review
What You Should Know
Dieters often find the most difficult part of staying on a program is meal and snack preparation. It can be confusing to ascertain what foods are appropriate on any given diet, which may eventually lead to frustration and failure. The Fresh Diet Program prevents this by delivering all meals and snacks to the dieter. The Fresh Diet program was established in 2005 in Florida. Service now includes most areas in Florida, Chicago, Southern California, the New York tri-state area, Indianapolis, Boston, Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and most of Virginia. This fresh food delivery program is based on the Zone diet and meal plans provide 40% carbohydrates, 30% fats, and 30% proteins.
There are several program packages that can be purchased, starting from one week and moving up to a month. Prices range from $349 for the one week plan to almost $1400 for the one month plan. If a meal is not needed for whatever reason clients can call, within twenty-four hours, and cancel the meals for the desired day and reschedule them for a later time. There are two program plans, Chef’s Choice and Premium Choice. Chef’s Choice is the least expensive and has fewer dining options and limits food exclusions to eight. The Premium choice gives participants four or more options for each meal and an unlimited number of food exclusions.
List of Ingredients
There are numerous meals provided by The Fresh Diet program and each meal has different ingredients.
Three prepared meals and two snacks are delivered fresh each day and are never frozen, vacuum packed, or freeze dried. Certified dieticians and an online meal planner allow customers to have direct input into what meals and snacks they are served. The plan can work around food preferences and dietary restrictions, allowing for a great deal of customization. Finally, dieters can set their caloric intake to fit their weight loss goals.
- Healthy meals with no work.
- Personal diet counselors help create individual plans.
- No exercise instructions.
- Limited availability.
- Very expensive.
- The plan is for individuals, not ideal for families.
This is a fantastic plan for dieters who don’t know what to eat, don’t like to cook, don’t have the time to cook, or want to feel pampered while dieting. The problem is that most people can’t afford to spend more than $1400 per person a month on food. Considering that according to the Department of Labor, a family of four spends an average of a bit of $700 a month on food. Because it is so cost prohibitive, this would only work for those with a substantial income. Also, the program offers no exercise advice which can play a critical role in weight loss.
