Fucothin claims to be “the #1 Diet Product in the Natural Products Industry”, and is manufactured by Garden of Life. Garden of Life products are well known and respected in health food stores across the United States. They offer products for digestive health, weight management, immunity support, nutrition, and even some food products.

Fucothin claims to burn fat by creating a thermogenic effect that doesn’t effect your central nervous system like most fat burners claim to. Fucothin also claims to improve your metabolism and help you sleep because it contains no stimulants.

Fucothin has a very detailed and informative website which is great. There are sections explaining what the product is, how it is made, testimonials, where to buy it, and even clinical trial results. It’s nice to see so much detail accompanying a diet product. It is recommended that you use Fucothin with a healthy diet and moderate exercise if you expect to achieve results similar to those found on the website.

List of Ingredients

Brown Seaweed (Undaria pinnatifida, Laminaria japonica) Concentrate (contains 5mg of fucoxanthin),Pomegranate Seed Oil. Other ingredients: Gelatin, extra virgin olive oil, glycerin, purified water.

Product Features

Fucothin uses Fucoxanthin as its main ingredient, and this is the main selling point. Fucoxanthin is similar to lycopene, since it is an antioxidant. Antioxidants help protect the cells in your body from damage attributed to free-radicals. Fucoxanthin comes from brown seaweed which has been a staple food source for many Asian cultures for thousands of years.

Fucoxanthin claims to be the first ingredient created from algae, which is clinically proven to be a thermogenic. Thermogenics raise your core body temperature slightly resulting in a fat burning effect. The inclusion of Pomegranate seed oil is supposed to work with fucoxanthin to help support the natural thermogenic effect. Pomegranate seed oil contains many unique fatty acids and antioxidants which are very healthy.

Advantages

  • Fucothin is all natural and contains no stimulants.
  • The official Fucothin website is very well setup and contains a lot of information.

Disadvantages

  • Results may not appear for 6 weeks.
  • Fucothin contains no known appetite suppressants.
  • Can only be officially purchased directly from Whole Food stores. Third parties may sell it on the Internet however.

Conclusion

The all natural aspect of Fucothin will be appealing to many people. The only major drawback to this product is that it will take about six weeks before you begin to see any type of noticeable weight loss. That’s a very long time if you are looking to lose weight immediately. It might be best to combine this product with something that will work quicker. It might be a better product if they included an all natural appetite suppressant such as Hoodia.

I’ve noticed jitters, forgetfulness and restlessness. i’m also taking allergy pills (which never affected me this way before) and other vitamins once a day. could the addition of the Fucothin Green have an adverse affect like this?

Contains no caffine, have tried this now for 2 weeks. Per other reviews, I started only taking it once a day for the first week.I already have lost weight, and have more energy.

I have many sensitiveties to things like Hoodia, caffene, etc. so I am going to take this and be patient. I am also going to combine it with Tonalin CLA as its review does not seem to indicate effect on central nervous system, ie: jitters and restlessness. I hope these two combined with work together safely and effectively, although not cheaply.
