GramSlam Diet Review
What You Should Know
The GramSlam Diet also known as the Original Supermarket Diet, was developed by Janeen St. Claire in 1989 as a diet planning format. The plan has been used for over two decades. The concept of the plan is that by using it correctly there is no need for any other plan because it is easy and uses a no nonsense approach. The plan is safe, effective, and most importantly balanced nutritionally. As reading food labels is an important aspect of success, the GramSlam plan was designed to allow substitution of similar foods.
List of Ingredients
This is a calorie controlled diet plan, based on brand name foods you can find in your local grocery store. The plan makes dieters start checking food labels, to learn more about their ingredients before purchasing. This will make you more aware of what you are eating, which will help you work toward a healthier lifestyle. If you want to, you can substitute similar nutritional foods in place of the ones the plan recommends. For instance, those who want to follow an organic plan, can simply exchange their foods for organic versions. You should eat no more than 300mg of cholesterol in a day, and no more than 30% of your calories should come from fat. Do not add more salt to your food. Do not drink soda. Do not use artificial sweeteners, and do not drink more than two cups of caffeine from any source. You should eat three meals and three snacks every day. Snacking will help you keep your blood sugar levels stable to help prevent over eating. In terms of exercise, you should walk for at least half an hour a day, with a brisk intensity.
