I am 56 and have been taking the 5-HTP for pain associated with Fibro and rumatoid arthritus for about a month. I went to the doc yesterday and my blood pressure is up, it has been ok for years. Is it related?? I have not had any pain relief with anything else I have tried. What does it have to do with blood pressure and is there anything I can do?

    Your Name

Yes, I have been taking it for a week now. I have also noticed a higher bloodpressure and an irregular heartbeat since then. I get it checked every week and it is absolutely related. I also have a difficulty breathing problem. Maybe i’m allergic to this supplement?
