Half Size Me Review
What You Should Know
Half Size Me originally started as a weight loss blog for a woman named Heather Robertson. She at one point weighed more than 300 pounds, and is now a healthy weight, losing roughly 170 pounds with Weight Watchers®. She created the website to share her story with others, and provide motivation and encouragement. There is also a weight loss community to help others who are struggling with weight loss. Read this review to learn more about how you may be able to use this service to help you reach your weight loss goals.
List of Ingredients
Half Size Me features podcasts, menus, exercise plans, and recipes based on the Weight Watchers plan to help people reach their weight loss goals. Heather makes it her mission to serve as an inspiration for people who are standing where she once stood, overweight, and unable to keep up with her children. She is not a doctor, nurse or any other medical professional, and shares her experiences for informational purposes only. She recommends you visit your own doctor before starting any sort of weight loss plan, and says that if you are following Weight Watchers, too, you are still ultimately responsible for your own Points® calculations. Her website has been such a success, she started halfsizemecommunity.com. For $17/month, with no contracts or sign up fees, you get access to weekly online meetings (recorded so you can listen later if you cannot attend live), members only resources, access to a completely private Facebook group. This is designed to be a low cost alternative to something like the Weight Watchers program.
- Half Size Me comes from someone who’s struggled with weight for the majority of her life.
- The community offers support.
- Half Size Me does not come from a fitness or nutrition professional.
- Her success is based on the Weight Watchers program, and you can get much of what she offers using that.
- This is not a specific diet.
- This approach may not be safe for you depending on your goals and current condition.
- Though you can cancel anytime, a money back guarantee is not offered.
Half Size Me is a good website to use for motivation so you can see exercise plans and meal options, along with success stories from other people. The podcasts are an excellent tool. However, the community doesn’t really offer much that you couldn’t get from a weekly meeting with Weight Watchers, and there are many other free online weight loss communities available for support. There are also several free Facebook groups you can join, so you can be successful in your weight loss journey without having to invest anything more than the food you buy at the grocery store, and the clothes you wear when you workout.
