Herbathin Review

What You Should Know

Herbathin claims to be”the next generation in herbal weight-loss” and uses the tagline “The first phytogenic equalizer”. The official website doesn’t say who makes Herbathin or even where it is manufactured. They are currently having a 5th anniversary special so we can assume they have been in business for at least five years.

Herbathin’s website claims it uses a number of various all natural appetite suppressants mixed with ingredients that will increase your metabolism. Herbathin makes a lot of claims on the official website in addition to the standard weight loss ones. Apparently Herbathin will make you will feel less hungry, eat less, feel full sooner, curb your cravings for sweets, cleanse your body, is a natural diuretic, supplements you pancreas, and will help if you are constipated.

The official Herbathin website states that it is three times cheaper than Jenny Craig in some areas and four times cheaper in others. However, we found the site to be very unprofessional. There is also a page that tells you what to do while taking Herbathin. This includes not eating carbs after 7pm, drinking a lot of water, and similar recommendations. We did find a warning from the FDA that found this product to contain some very disturbing ingredients. There is chlordiazepoxide HCL and fluoxetine HCL which are the active ingredients in Librium and Prozac respectively. The FDA also found Fenproporex which will make you test positive for amphetamines. This warning is from 2006 so Herbathin may have changed its ingredients since then. Either way, that is very unsettling and does not boost our faith in this manufacturer.

List of Ingredients

We couldn’t find a complete list of ingredients but these are listed on the official website: Wild Hoodia Gordonii from South Africa, Cha’ de Bugre from Brazil, Cascara Sagrada ( Buckthorn Bark), Chromax II Chromium Picolinate, Garcinia Cambogia, Juniper Berry, Uva Ursi, Goldenrod Flower Extract, Citrus Aureantum, Horse Chestnut Extract, Senna Leaf Extract.

Product Features

Herbathin claims to be either a mix of 20 or 24 appetite suppressants and fat burners depending on what page of the website you look at. This is an impressive amount. The official site sells a 90-day supply for $149.99 and says they offer a money back guarantee. The guarantee is only good for unopened products, however, and you will only get 60% of your money back if you try to refund it after 11 days.

Advantages

  • Herbathin may contain hoodia.
  • The product can be ordered online.

Disadvantages

  • Herbathin has one of the worst return policies we have ever seen.
  • This product, as well as some others from Brazil, was found by the FDA to have extremely harmful substances in 2006. We don’t know if anything has changed since then.
  • You can’t buy less than a 90-day supply which is $149.99
  • The official website is pretty uninformative and has conflicting information on each page.

Conclusion

We found very little to recommend Herbathin in any way and for any reason. Any search engine will immediately give you a link to the FDA report on this product and what they found. The results the FDA gives are very scary. We recommend sticking to weight loss supplement products that have positive reviews and posted results instead, as well as more sensible return policies.

**Our Top Weight Loss Choice**

Top Choice for 2009: Avesil

Avesil is clearly the most promising weight control formula we know of on the market. After looking at hundreds of different purported weight loss supplements, Avesil was the most rigorously researched one that we could find. The foundation behind the Avesil formula was an original scientific research study that incorporated an incredible 284 previously published peer-reviewed clinical studies, many conducted in university research labs. All of the product claims made about Avesil are substantiated by this large volume of research.

Unlike many fad weight loss ingredients (hoodia, acai berry, etc.) which are at best supported by folklore and at worst by pop culture, Avesil is totally rooted in disciplined scientific study. In fact, two research trials conducted on human subjects, later published in highly respected scientific journals, concluded that the primary ingredients in Avesil resulted in an average weight loss of more than 3 times that of a healthy diet and exercise alone.

Customers will notice that the claims made about Avesil are quite reasonable and not the least far-fetched. Simply put, Avesil is a safe, healthy way to promote a significant increase in weight loss when taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise. In today's market there is a shamefully high number of consumers who have been deceived by outrageous "no work" promises, manufactured customer testimonials and bogus before/after pictures used by so many marketers of weight loss supplements. Avesil promises to deliver healthy, reasonable, and significant weight loss benefits - all offered through the process of a risk-free trial, leaving customers with very little to lose (other than weight).
