What You Should Know
Hydravol by QNT claims to support hyper-hydration of the muscle. The supplement contains common bodybuilding ingredients, so there is nothing spectacular or hyper-hydrating about the product. Hydravol is listed on various websites, but we found an extremely detailed description on Bodybuilding.com. The formula is broken into several blends giving us a good idea how the company feels the supplement will work. In addition to the muscle hydrating ingredients, we noticed a bit of caffeine thrown in for good energy.
Hydravol is a bodybuilding supplement, not a supplement for the average dieter. Creatine causes weight gain and water retention. Even though there is caffeine in this supplement, it is not included as a fat burner and there is no appetite suppressant to offset hunger caused by the caffeine and other ingredients.
List of Ingredients
Hydravol – Hyper Growth Proprietary Complex: Hydravol Muscle Volume and Strength Amplifier: Waxy Maize Starch, Creatine Monohydrate, Glucose Polymers, Taurine, Glycerol Monostearate, L-Leucine, Beta Alanine, L-Tyrosine, Rice Oligodextrin, Caffeine, Beta Phenylthylamine, Creatine Pyruvate and SerinAid Phosphatidylserine.
LeuNOx – Leucine Signal and Nitric Oxide Synthesis Complex: Majoram, Maqui Superberry, Pine Bark Extract, Goji Berry Extract, Acai Juice Powder, Grape Seed Extract and Pomegranate Extract.
Hydralex – Cell Electrolyte Volumizer: Magnesium Carbonate, Sodium Chloride, Calcium Carbonate and Potassium Bicarbonate.
The Hyper Growth ingredient list contains creatine and starch. The starch acts as a vehicle for the creatine. There is also a bit of branched chain amino acid thrown into the mix. We’re not sure why caffeine is included in the Hyper Growth portion of Hydravol. Caffeine will increase energy and it takes energy to push harder and grow larger muscles. Caffeine also increases heart rate so creatine moves to the muscle faster.
The LeuOX ingredient list includes nitric oxide boosters and antioxidants. Antioxidants are needed to offset the increase in free radicals common with extreme weight lifting.

Hydravol is just another creatine supplement that claims to contain the end-all of ingredient lists. We were happy to find some strong antioxidants, often forgotten in bodybuilding supplements, but that does not make this supplement any better than a self-made combination of creatine, carbohydrates, caffeine and antioxidants. Reviews for the supplement are spectacular, so that is often the best selling point of all.
