Jillian Michaels Quickstart Review
What You Should Know
Jillian Michaels is one of the most intense and feared personal trainers on the Biggest Loser television show. She pushes people beyond their normal limits and yells at them two inches from their face when they cry about the pain. Weight loss is tough so Jillian Michaels has formulated the Jillian Michaels Quickstart Starter Kit to help dieters get into the weight loss groove in less time. The Jillian Michaels Quickstart combines two supplements formulated under Michael’s professional watch. She has been sued in the past for weight loss claims and unrealistic promises made on product labels. Dieters need to take a look at all Michael’s products and read reviews before purchasing.
List of Ingredients
Maximum Strength Fat Burner: Proprietary Blend – Blood Orange Extract, Grapefruit Extract, Guarana Fruit Extract, Sweet Orange Extract, Bitter Orange Extract, Coffee Extract, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Kola Extract, Cacao Seed Extract, White Willow Bark Extract and Cayenne Pepper.
Maximum Strength Calorie Control: Proprietary Blend – Yerba Mate Extract, Guarana Extract, Damiana Extract, Coffee Extract, Ginger Powder, Kola Nut Extract, White Willow Powder, Cacao Seed Extract, Jujube Seed Extract, Shisandra Fruit Extract and Chinese Skullcap Extract.
Jillian Michaels Quickstart is a potent combination of two stimulant supplements. We were extremely surprised to find warnings on both supplements claiming the dieter should limit user of caffeine-containing products while taking the supplement. The Jillian Michaels Quickstart suggests the dieter take 10 capsules per day, as two different supplements, both containing 100 mg of caffeine per 2 Metacaps. That adds up to 500 mg of caffeine per day – FAR too much for most dieters. Even dieters who drink two to three cups of coffee for breakfast, lunch and dinner will not consume that much caffeine.
The active ingredients for weight loss are all stimulants. Guarana, bitter orange, coffee, kola nut and yerba mate all either contain caffeine or have caffeine-like effects on the body. There is no need to review the other ingredients because this starter kit is unsafe for use as a diet aid. The potential side effects include jitters, shakes, nausea, vomiting, chest pain, increased blood pressure, increased heart rate and death – in extreme cases.
The Jillian Michaels Quickstart kits sells for $15. This is much cheaper than other weight loss supplements. The FAQs section suggests taking the supplements for 45 days to 12 weeks for optimal results.
- Caffeine is proven to increase weight loss.
- The Jillian Michaels Quickstart kit is cheap.
- Too many stimulants packaged into the two supplements.
- The dieter consumes 500 mg of caffeine per day.
- Could cause caffeine addiction.
We are stunned by the amount of caffeine and stimulants in this kit. The dieter should not take the full dose of the Jillian Michaels Quickstart kit if they are not used to taking huge amounts of caffeine.
