The Kekwick Diet is sometimes referred to as the Fast Fat Diet. The plan is designed to help you lose weight fast, and has been around since the 1950′s. The plan uses eating low carb and high fat foods to help you shed weight quickly. Though you can do this plan from the comfort and safety of your own home, it is recommended you first speak to a doctor to make sure this plan is safe for you, because rapid weight loss is not healthy in most circumstances.

Product Features

The Kekwick Diet works by placing fruits, vegetables, and protein at every meal, with less emphasis on high carb starches. Every day gives you a focus on a certain combination of foods, and the typical Kekwick diet plan lasts about 30 days. The biggest part of the diet is the heavy caloric restriction. Each day on the plan, you should eat no more than 1,000 calories. Due to the lack of calories, it is very important to make the calories you consume come from nutrient dense foods, so as to lessen the feelings of hunger and deprivation, to make it easier to stick to the plan for the full month. Most the plan is a series of three to five day cycles that repeat over the course of the month. To keep your body from getting hungry, and to kick it into ketosis (fat burning mode) you eat a bunch of mini-meals throughout the day that are less than 250 calories, so you can eat multiple times while still maintaining your 1000 calorie per day limit.

The Kekwick Diet is not for people who have not been instructed to follow this diet by a medical professional. If you have not been told by your doctor to do this program, you could cause serious medical damage to your body. To lose weight, you should follow a balanced, reduced calorie diet and workout with regular exercise. For best results, you should use both strength training and cardiovascular workouts. To boost your overall efforts as compared to diet and exercise alone, you should also consider taking a clinically proven weight loss supplement that contains either a fat burner or an appetite suppressant, if not both ingredients.

This is NOT an accurate description of the Kekwick diet…among many flaws here is the most important detail that 90% of your total calories must be fat and none of it should be carbohydrate so ixnay on the uitfray not to mention many vegetables etc…

Kenwick did not advise a 1000 kcal diet. This is totaly wrong. He tested only several low cal. diets to find the difference. He concluded that one can GAIN weight by eating a mixed diet of 2000 kcal. but LOOSE weight on a 2600 kcal high fat diet. So that’s quit different.
It all has to do with proportions. A 1000 kcal diet is not healthy despite what you are eating.
