Launch Gum Review
What You Should Know
Launch Gum is an energy gum sold in the United Kingdom. The United States has energy gum, but this one is a bit stronger than the ones we’ve reviewed. There are nine pieces of gum in the tin and those nine pieces provide the stimulation of seven full energy drinks, according to the Launch Gum description. There is a lot of caffeine delivered per serving and the dieter needs to watch how much of the gum they chew each day because if the entire tin is consumed in a sitting that could lead to some pretty nauseating side effects that would last a minimum of 12 hours.
Launch Gum is not a product that should be consumed by children. Despite the fact that this energy supplement is delivered in a package (gum) that looks like other gum – this is not normal gum. If you drink coffee, consume caffeinated beverages or take a fat burner with caffeine you may want to skip the Launch Gum.
List of Ingredients
- Pantothenic Acid
The ingredient list for Launch Gum looks relative innocent, but it is anything but innocent. Each piece of gum contains about 62 mg of caffeine. That means two pieces contain about 125 mg and the entire tin contains more than 550 mg of caffeine. One serving size is two pieces, but if you’re not used to taking a lot of caffeine in one sitting you should start with just one piece. Theoretically you could chew the entire tin one piece at a time throughout the day without negative side effects, but by the end of the day you may have some trouble sleeping.
Launch Gum is relatively cheap – costing much less than the seven energy drinks one tin replaces, but we could not find the product for sale in the United States.
- The ingredients for Launch Gum are listed in the product description.
- Caffeine has been clinically tested for use as a diet supplement.
- We like the caffeine level in one or two pieces of gum.
- There is no warning about using the gum with caffeinated products or supplements.
- Launch Gum contains no appetite suppressant.
- Could increase hunger as it increases metabolism.
Launch Gum is a strong stimulant and nothing more. The formula is all about boosting energy and giving the dieter a little bit of added get up and go, which it will do with ease, but there is a lot of caffeine in one tin and we’re afraid the gum will be too easy to chew and the dieter may overdose on caffeine before they know it.
