Lee Haney 7 Day Detox Review
What You Should Know
Lee Haney 7 Day Detox is a systemic cleansing supplement that claims to work wonders for overall health and well-being. There is mention of weight loss throughout the website, but there is no connection between long-term weight loss and cleansing supplements. Lee Haney may not appear to be much of an athlete today, but he is an 8-time Mr. Olympia, so he knows a thing or two about working out and taking supplements.
Unlike most other cleansing supplements we’ve found – the Lee Haney 7 Day Detox comes with instructions on what to eat and how to deal with some of the issues you may come in contact with while taking the detox supplements. The instructions for the detox need to be followed exactly, according to the website, for the detox to work.

First off let’s talk about the supplement as a whole. The ingredient list looks like any other cleansing product. There are laxatives and diuretics with a few ingredients some believe will cleanse the organs. There is nothing spectacular about the supplement thought Lee Haney Nutrition has packaged it in two phases to make completing the cleanse a bit easier.
The instructions state that the Cleansing Complex must be taken one hour before breakfast and dinner. You must drink a minimum of eight ounces of water with this packet. The Fiber Complex must be taken immediately before breakfast and dinner. Again, another eight ounces of water must be consumed. Water consumption must be increased during the time you are following the 7-day cleanse.
In addition to taking the supplement you must also follow a prescribed diet. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are all laid out. The plan is extremely calorie-deficient and may cause the dieter to feel extreme hunger and fatigue after the first day or two.
- All of the ingredients are openly listed for the Lee Haney 7-Day Detox.
- Will likely promote weight loss and relieve constipation.
- The detox requires a strict diet.
- The diet will NOT provide enough calories.
- There are multiple laxatives in the formula.
We are not thrilled with the Lee Haney 7-Day Detox. The program is packed with laxatives and the diet is near anorexic. The dieter does NOT eat enough food during the seven days to perform basic human functions, let alone maintain muscle mass. This program should be protein rich as Lee Haney knows the importance of maintaining muscle.
