What You Should Know
LiveSkinny is a weight loss system that comes with two water bottles, two filters and a 30-day supply of the LiveSkinny supplement. The official website looks like every other fly-by-night diet website with a huge Order Now button, which we often find associated with recurring shipments of the supplement. We checked the Terms and Conditions and found just what we expected, but the price is much more than we anticipated. Customers who order the trial will be charged initial shipping and handling of $4.95, $65 after 30 days and $69.95 every 30 days until the order is cancelled. There are options to pay for a 30-day system for $49.95 or a 105-day system for $149.95. There is no mention of recurring billing for these orders.
List of Ingredients
- African Mango
We searched high and low for an ingredient list for LiveSkinny and found nothing. We did stumble upon a blog that told a visitor the sweetener was not artificial, it was Stevia. The tablets are flavored so there have to be other ingredients, but no list is available. Without an ingredient list we can’t tell dieters if the supplement is safe, unsafe, worth the money or a waste of money.
We also have a problem with the fact that the company makes huge weight loss claims with no clinical or study support. Just because a company claims you’ll lose 11 pounds in the first 8 days on the supplement or 18.4% of your body fat does not mean that will happen. No one study or even a mention of clinical support is available on the website. These claims are no substantiated and should not be trusted.
As if that wasn’t enough to keep dieters from choosing LiveSkinny, there’s more. The formula was created by a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine who wanted to create a better way to hydrate the kids in his youth soccer camp – not exactly a diet and nutrition specialist. There is also the $14 return fee one upset customer claimed. You can send the product back within 30 days, but it will cost you.
- Multiple order options – on site and on Amazon.com.
- Supports drinking more water to lose weight.
- No ingredient list available.
- Customers are automatically placed on a recurring shipment plan if they order the free trial.
- Consumers may have to pay to send the supplement back.
Choosing whether or not to support LiveSkinny is simple. There is no ingredient list so we don’t support the supplement. Not all dieters can take high doses of caffeine and other ingredients because of health concerns, which makes revealing all ingredients imperative.
