What You Should Know
Boditronics Lypodryl claims to be an effective fat burner and that could be true because one of the ingredients is known to contain ephedrine. Ephedrine is proven to boost metabolism and decrease hunger, but it is also a controlled substance in the United States, so dieters cannot purchase supplements containing this ingredient for diet or weight loss purposes. There is a good chance this supplement is not available for shipment to the United States.
List of Ingredients
- Bitter Orange
- Sida Cordifolia
- Caffeine Anhydrous
- Green Tea
- Coleus Forskohlii
- White Willow Bark
Bitter orange is another name for synephrine. This ingredient is a pure stimulant with no other benefits for weight loss. There are negative side effects associated with synephrine or bitter orange, including racing heart rate and increased blood pressure. Many of the side effects mirror those associated with ephedra.
Sida Cordifolia is a source of ephedrine. Ephedrine is not legal for sale as part of a diet supplement in the United States. Ephedrine is a derivative of ephedra and carries the same potential negative side effects.
Caffeine anhydrous is powdered caffeine. This ingredient is commonly used in fat burners throughout the world. With just 100 mg of caffeine we would normally say this is a good enough amount to boost metabolism, but caffeine is not the only stimulant in Lypodryl.
Green tea is another proven metabolism booster. We wanted to see more than 100 mg of green tea in the formula, but it really doesn’t matter because of the other dangerous ingredients.
White willow bark is a natural aspirin alternative. It may reduce pain and thin the blood. Guarana and theobromine are stimulants commonly standardized for caffeine. Both contribute more caffeine to the ingredient list than stated.
Bioperine is black pepper extract. This ingredient is included to facilitate the absorption of other ingredients.

Lypodryl is not legal for sale in the United States due to the Sida Cordifolia content. Even if the formula did not contain this ingredient, the remaining ingredients include several stimulants known to cause negative side effects. Six of the nine ingredients in Lypodryl are stimulants and that likely means the dieter will feel quite the energy boost followed by a series of negative side effects after taking the supplement.
