Macro Greens Review
What You Should Know
Macro Greens is a dynamic superfood powder that can be combined with smoothies, fruit juice and protein powders to create healthy snacks or fruit/vegetable supplements. Many greens supplements work wonders to provide all those servings of fruits and vegetables dieters just can’t manage to eat throughout the day while reducing total calorie intake supplied by foods. But, there is the taste. Greens supplements are notorious for tasting…well…green.

We’re not particularly concerned or impressed with any of the ingredients in Macro Greens. You can find the same ingredients and more in most greens supplements. We were a little surprised to find a list of ingredients commonly included in other supplements but left out of Macro Greens. The idea was to create an allergen-free greens supplement, which MacroLife Naturals was able to accomplish, but in the process they left out fantastic superfoods like wheat grass, alfalfa and oats. If you are NOT allergic to these foods you may want to choose another superfood mix.
As for taste we were able to find a couple of independent reviews of the supplements, but a couple literally means two. Both reviews claimed the powder mixed well in liquids and tasted slightly of berries, not greens. There is some stevia in the supplement – a natural sweetener, so taste your shake before adding more.
Will Macro Greens promote weight loss? The simple answer is no, but there is something more complex at play in the situation. Macro Green contains just 50 calories per serving. That is far less than the dieter would consume if they ate enough food to achieve the same superfood support. From that standpoint, we love the idea of using Macro Greens to fill in the nutritional gaps.
- Some ingredients are listed online.
- The dieter can support a healthy diet without breaking the calorie bank.
- Not all ingredients are listed online.
- We’d like to see more superfood ingredients.
- There are only a few recipes on the official website.
Macro Greens is a healthy supplement that can be consumed by people with some common food allergies. The nutritional support the supplement provides is well worth the 50 calories, but not everyone will love the taste. There are no weight loss testimonials associated with the product.
