What You Should Know
Max Muscle Max Extreme Therm XX sells for nearly $100 a bottle. The extra-strength fat burner claims to be the most complete formula for burning fat available on the market. As if the long list of ingredients weren’t scary enough, the website is hard to navigate with dieters needing to click several links to simply get to the information about the product. While an image is provided with the ingredients for Max Extreme Therm XX, we could not find that link from the official website. We were required to search for the product in order to find the image link. Products from Max Muscle are available online and in stores.

Max Muscle breaks up the ingredients in Max Extreme Therm XX into several proprietary blends. None of these blends offers how much of each ingredient is included. The Essential Blend contains citrus aurantium standardized for synephrine. Synephrine is a stimulant that has never been proven to increase fat burn.
The Energy Blend contains even more stimulants. Caffeine and green tea extract are proven to boost fat loss when taken in the right amounts. We did not find links to official studies supporting these ingredients, but we did find that one serving of Max Extreme Therm XX contains 218 mg of caffeine on top of the synephrine. Yerba Mate and Guarana are two additional stimulants.
The Water Loss Blend contains all the most popular natural diuretics. Stimulants have diuretic properties, so when these ingredients are included in supplement with natural diuretics, water loss is inevitable. Water loss may result in reduced potassium levels and dehydration. When these two side effects combine, the results can be severe, including hospitalization and death.
There are a few other ingredients thrown in for good measure. These increase absorption of the other proprietary blends and calm the stomach, but have no impact on fat burn.
- All ingredients were relatively easy to find.
- Caffeine and green tea are effective fat loss ingredients.
- The price is far too high for a fat burner.
- No free trial to assess whether the dieter can take such a strong product.
- Website is difficult to navigate.
We would not suggest trying Max Extreme Therm XX unless you are used to taking very strong stimulants. This product is priced far higher than other fat burners and may be less effective or cause negative side effects.
