What You Should Know
Metabodrene is a weight loss product that claims to make losing weight easier. Everyone wants to get their hands on a product that makes weight loss easy, but there is nothing easy about making lifestyle changes and choosing to live a healthier life with exercise and a reduced calorie diet. Ideally, this supplement would contain proven ingredients, but that’s not the case for most diet pills.

Metabodrene contains a long list of ingredients, but the ingredients are commonly found in many weight loss supplements. There is no one ingredient that makes this supplement unique and it comes with many of the same problems other weight loss supplements have.
There are multiple stimulants in Metabodrene. Supplement companies pack multiple stimulants into a formula that is relatively useless without stimulation. This product will increase heart rate and metabolism as a piggy back reaction, but that doesn’t mean it is safe for all dieters. If a dieter is not used to taking large amounts of caffeine, there is a good chance they will feel nauseous and jittery after taking Metabodrene.
Another dangerous ingredient is phenylethylamine. This ingredient changes your mood. Many companies market it as the feel good ingredient. Dieters taking medication for mental illness or psychiatric conditions should steer clear of supplements containing phenylethylamine.
This ingredient list includes ephedra. Ephedra is a well-known stimulant that is not legal for use in diet products. This product could contain a form of ephedra extract that is not covered by the federal ban or it could contain the dangerous ingredient linked to death.
- Contains green tea extract and caffeine – proven to boost metabolism.
- May provide some support for weight loss.
- May contain ephedra.
- If the product contains ephedra it is not legal for sale in the United States.
- Could cause negative side effects.
Phenylethylamine and ephedra are two dangerous ingredients. Metabodrene is not a safe supplement for dieters to use for weight loss. We like the fact that green tea and caffeine are part of the mix, but these two ingredients are not strong enough to balance the negative side effects that other bad ingredients could cause.
