Metabolife AquaSlim Review
What You Should Know
Metabolife is a weight loss aid manufacturer that makes several products. Its newest is Metabolife AquaSlim, a beverage that claims to be able to suppress appetite, build strong bones, and hydrate the body.
Metabolife AquaSlim comes in mixed berry and pineapple & orange flavors. The suggested usage is 3 bottles per day which at $1.50 per bottle, makes this a $135 per month weight loss plan which is far more expensive than competitive products on the market today.
You can purchase Metabolife AquaSlim directly from the company website. It retails for around $6 for 4 500-ml bottles. We did not find any indication of a money-back guarantee for this product nor did we see any product samples or trial sizes being offered before purchase. However, the $6 to try out the product is not that expensive.
Calcium, potassium, SuperCitrimax, hydroxycitric acid, water, citric acid, natural flavors, potassium benzoate, beta carotene, sucralose, and red cabbage.
All of the Metabolife products, including AquaSlim, are based on hydroxycitric acid (HCA). HCA is a derivative of citric acid that has shown some promise in the laboratory in regulating lipid metabolism, but only on animals. To date, no credible studies exist that show support for this effect in humans.
We do not find any ingredient in Metabolife AquaSlim that would fulfill the product’s claim of suppressing appetite unless they are expecting that the fact that this flavored water contains volume will stave off hunger.
Metabolife AquaSlim also contains calcium but only 15% of the recommended daily value, for a total of 45% per day. Consumers would be better off purchasing a daily calcium supplement that will provide 100% of the daily value.
Claims that the product will hydrate the body are true by the simple fact that AquaSlim is mostly water, and very expensive water at that. There are more efficient and less expensive ways to take the ingredients in Metabolife AquaSlim.
- Provides water and some calcium to the body.
- Can purchase directly from the company’s website.
- Extremely expensive compared with competitive products.
- May not contain proven appetite suppressants or fat-burning ingredients.
- No money-back guarantee.
- No customer testimonials available.
We do not have any confidence that Metabolife AquaSlim has any benefits for weight loss. All of the Metabolife products rely on HCA as their active ingredient and there simply isn’t enough data to prove this ingredient effective. As for its Vitamin C, calcium and hydration benefits, consumers would be better off to purchase calcium-enriched orange juice. It would certainly be a lot easier on the pocketbook and with the money you save, you can purchase a clinically-proven weight loss aid backed by a company that believes in its products.
