Mini Trim Review
What You Should Know
Mini Trim is an energy and weight loss supplement that used to be called Mini Thin. This supplement claims to contain 50 mg of ephedra, which is highly unlikely in a weight loss market where ephedra is no longer legal for use in diet supplements. We are finding more and more companies willing to place the name ephedra on the ingredient list, so there is a good chance the extract included in supplements like Mini Trim is derived from an ephedra plant with no thermogenic properties. There are multiple ephedra plants and extracts. Dieters are often convinced that the name ephedra implies the proven fat burner and appetite suppressant, but that may not be the case.
List of Ingredients
- Ephedra Extract – 50mg
- Caffeine Anhydrous – 200mg
The first ingredient in the formula is ephedra. When ephedra was legal, most companies included a maximum of 25 mg of ephedra per dose, but Mini Trim claims to include 50 mg. Despite being compared to the original Mini Thins – Mini Thins contains only 25 mg of ephedra when they were legally sold. Today, you can find them listed on some small websites claiming to have old stock of the real thing, but it is unlikely that these pills contain any more ephedra than Mini Trim.
We found one testimonial for Mini Trim. The customer was an old Mini Thin user. According to that customer, the 50 mg of ephedra did not make her jittery or shaky, but the 25 mg of ephedra in Mini Thins did. This is just another indication that the supplement does not contain ephedra – but that doesn’t mean it won’t cause negative side effects.
Packed with that (likely fake) ephedra is caffeine – 200 mg. That is enough caffeine to leave most dieters jittery and nauseous within an hour of taking the supplement. There is no appetite suppressant, no other proven thermogenic ingredients – nothing. Just caffeine and fake ephedra.
- The ingredient list is simple to find online.
- The supplement contains caffeine – proven to boost metabolism.
- May reduce appetite due to extreme stimulation.
- Does not likely contain real ephedra.
- Too much ephedra if it is real.
- No free trial.
- No satisfaction guarantee.
- Only one testimonial.
Mini Trim is a Mini Thin knock-off. Mini Thins were popular is gas stations across the United States when ephedra was legal. The supplement has since been pulled from the market, though some websites still claim to sell the real thing. Mini Trim either contains a fake alternative to ephedra or nothing but caffeine at all.
