What You Should Know
N.O. Ignite from Redefine Nutrition is a FinaFlex supplement. The product is designed to increase nitric oxide levels and force more blood through blood vessels. There is a strong stimulant formula in the supplement, which could be a little overpowering for some dieters. The addition of nitric oxide support ingredients means the dieter would be taking ingredients they do not need to lose weight. The stimulant ingredients found in N.O. Ignite are also available in most fat burners. We were thrilled to find some proven weight loss ingredients, but again, the purpose of this supplement is not weight loss.
List of Ingredients
Ignite Stimulant Matrix: Green Tea Extract, Caffeine Anhydrous, 1,3 Dimethylamylamine, Theophylline and Schizandrol A.
N.O. Amplification Blend: Arginine Alpa-Ketoglutarate, Beta Alanine and Creatine Ethyl Ester.
The N.O. Amplification Blend is nothing more than arginine, beta alanine and creatine. These ingredients are commonly found in bodybuilding shakes and other supplements. Most bodybuilders are already taking these ingredients, so we are unsure how they would feel about combining more creatine on top of the creatine already being used. More creatine will cause an increase in side effects, more water retention, and possible, more painful muscle cramping.
The Ignite Stimulant Matrix is one hot formula. The proprietary blend contains 330mg, but we have no idea what portion of the formula is attributed to each ingredient. Even though green tea is a natural metabolism booster, it is included in this formula as an antioxidant and energy booster. We have to assume that the 330mg is equivalent to 330mg of caffeine and in that case, the formula is far too strong for the average dieter. The 1,3 Dimethylamylamine is associated with heart palpitations and should not be taken by dieters with heart problems.
- N.O. Ignite will increase blood flow and heart rate.
- Ingredients are listed on the Redefine Nutrition website.
- Available for sale online.
- The stimulant concentration is higher than dieters need to take.
- May cause negative side effects like jitters and nausea.
- Could cause mood swings.
- Could cause heart palpitations.
We are not thrilled with the N.O. Ignite formula. Most N.O. boosters include arginine and beta alanine, but the addition of stimulants could cause some bodybuilders to turn away from the product. We have no idea how much caffeine or caffeine-equivalent is in the proprietary blend, so bodybuilders need to start low and stop taking other supplements with caffeine or stimulants when starting N.O. Ignite.
Dieters may love the fact that this supplement includes green tea, but there is not enough green tea to boost metabolism. Clinical studies suggest 300 to 350mg of green tea and the entire blend contains only 330mg.
