What You Should Know
No-Stim is a product of Addrena LLC, a nutrition company with a reputation of selling supplements with names that are similar to prescription medications. No-Stim is a stimulant-free weight loss product that includes proven ingredients, but there is no official website and no picture of the label so we have no idea if there are enough of the proven ingredients to have any effect on weight loss. There is also an issue with the non-stimulant claim as at least one of the ingredients contains caffeine. The only website currently selling No-Stim is Amazon.com. The official banner for No-Stim on the Addrena website links to Amazon.
List of Ingredients
- Potassium Iodide
- Hoodia Gordonii Stem Extract
- Green Tea Leaf
- 3,3 Diido-L-Thyronine
We are intrigued with the process Addrena must have gone through to choose these ingredients. Iodine is found in table salt, though salt can increase blood pressure. Most people get all the iodine they need from salted foods. Hoodia is not an effective appetite suppressant, according to clinical studies. The active ingredient in the cactus extract is P57 and when taken orally or injected, the body metabolizes the P57 before it can reach the brain to throw the full switch. Green tea leaf is a great ingredient, but how much does Addrena include in No-Stim? If we are asking so are dieters considering the supplement.
We are even more interested in the addition of 3,3 Diido-L-Thyronine. Clinical studies in animals have proven 3,5 Diido not 3,3 Diido may have an effect on thyroid stimulating hormone. If the 3,5 version has clinical support, even if that support is from animal studies, why would a company include 3,3 Diido – also named in the study as ineffective?
The missing website is another huge concern for dieters. Even when you find the official website for Addrena there is nothing more than a banner linked to the Amazon listing. Addrena, also a supplement produced by the Addrena company, has an official website. What makes that product more important than No-Stim?
- Ingredients are listed on Amazon.
- The green tea could boost metabolism if enough is included in the No-Stim formula.
- Hoodia is ineffective.
- 3,3 Diido is ineffective.
- Green tea provides at least some caffeine – a stimulant.
- No official website.
Not only does Addrena leave No-Stim without an official website, but the company breaks a ton of diet supplement rules. Some of the ingredients are clinically proven to be ineffective and the amount of the effective ingredient is not listed. Dieters should steer clear of companies that use product names similar to prescription medications, but even if we chose to forget that rule, the formula is simply ineffective.
