What You Should Know

Hoodia XPF is manufactured by Nutracore. Hoodia XPF stands for Hoodia Extreme Power Formula. Nutracore says that Hoodia XPF is made from the purest, most authentic Hoodia Gordonii available. Hoodia Gordonii is a cactus which is thought to have appetite suppressing abilities and is found in the South African and Namibian deserts. Nutracore tells us that Hoodia Gordonii contains a molecule that is “one hundred thousand times more potent than glucose.” Nutracore says that whilst a number of other companies claim to sell Hoodia Gordonii, it is often not authentic, not mature, or it is made from the wrong part of the plant. Nutracore’s Hoodia XPF, however, is claimed by that manufacturer to be “the real thing.”

There has been alot of interest in Hoodia Gordonii in the last couple of years, since it was discovered that this cactus was used by the Bush Men of South Africa to keep hunger away during long hunting trips. It is now a widely used ingredient in weight loss products. A number of dieticians and experts in the field say that real Hoodia Gordonii is actually in short supply and so they think it is unlikely that all of those who claim to have this as an ingredient in their weight loss suplement actually have the real thing. Nutracore, however, assures us that their product, Hoodia XPF, does actually contain the real authentic Hoodia Gordonii and presents us with certificates of authenticity to this effect on its official website.

A number of the other ingredients in Nutracore’s Hoodia XPF are ingredients that are widely used in other weight oss products. These include such ingredients as Citrus Aurantium, Green Tea, Chromium, and Cha de Bugre. Cha de Bugre is indigenous to Brazil, Argentina, Paraquay, and is said to be a natural appetite suppressant. Conclusion

Nutracore, the manufacturers of Hoodia XFP, may well be correct in their assertion that their product contains authentic Hoodia Gordonii, unlike some other weight loss products which do not have the real thing.We doubt however, that it is the ONLY weight loss product that contains authentic Hoodia Gordonii, and we would need to see an in-depthy, third party expose to be sure of that. Also, although Nutracore and many other manufacturers have jumped all over the Hoodia trend, we’re not sure how effective or safe this recently “discovered” ingredient will be in the long-term.
